  1. 11.5 - Jamie Baker - DAL one of the smartest players in the game
  2. 10 236 Dallas smozoma Tuesday, November 6 2007 130 PM EST 10.20 - Dave Volek - DAL
  3. Taking offers on any of or a combination of Reichel, Ellet, and Schneider. Maybe Dineen. - Reichel is a lot like Juneau, so he's a bit redundant - Ellet has a dangerous shot, but I'm not skilled enough to use it. He's a good stay-at-home D, though, but not the best checker. - Schneider is great at jumping up into the rush, but Ellet can't hold the fort alone, so they don't work well together.
  4. It's be great if the file format put out by the new kailera were compatible with that version of Gens that can record straight to AVI.
  5. Yeah, I'm happy with them, I think they were decent picks.
  6. lidstrom >> yake Forwards are just worth less than D of equivalent skills/rating because there are so few decent D. There are still forwards available who I'd rather have play D than my current D.
  7. My whole first line is on the climbers list :/
  8. 9.5 - Neil Wilkinson - DAL
  9. 8 188 Dallas smozoma Monday, November 5 2007 345 PM EST 8.20 - Kevin Todd - DAL
  10. Yeah, the p2p is great. When you're not doing p2p, the server list refreshes waaaay faster, too.
  11. Emerson's definitely a good player people sometimes don't know about. I always sub him in for Janney. Late 2nd round seems pretty reasonable to me. That part of the draft went Turgeon, Larmer, Ronning, Coffey, Emerson, Carson, Juneau I'd say Juneau and Carson(despite his weight) are a little better, though.
  12. I picked Ranford way too early last season, so he bombed this year. The verbeek pick stuck out to me as too early.. but apparently he has "good reach" or something :/ The main trend: fat guys were drafted later and light guys (good checkers) were drafted earlier. Can you make the +/- relative the average from seasons 1 and 2? That would make it more accurate (eg, my picking Ranford too early last year wouldn't have such a big effect).
  13. 7 149 Dallas smozoma Sunday, November 4, 2007 530 PM EST 7.5 Dallas welcomes the addition of Norm MacIver
  14. 6.20 - Matt Schneider - DAL had him last year!
  15. same here, I thought it was just one 6th-rounder for one 7th-rounder.
  16. Hawerchuk was finally drafted, 6th round. I know he's brutal, but wow, 6th round... I think we have a winner for "most overrated player." 5 agi, 4 spd, 5 stick, 5 pass.. all stats are great, except for his 3/1 shot, yet he's an incredibly ineffective player. Gretz has a 2/2 shot, i think, and he went in the first round.
  17. I agree. What's this straight-up draft pick trade? You shouldn't be able to do that. Can I get another 6th round pick from someone? BHF voted for the snaking draft, too, so this doesn't make sense (giving himself a challenge).
  18. 5.5 - Kevin Dineen - DAL sorry for the wait
  19. 4.20 (92) - Dave Ellet - DAL skoolyardpuck and tesslog still need to pick
  20. cool just one problem.. 94 wasn't the only sports game on that top 100 games list. 38: madden 2004. 24: tecmo football.
  21. Cool, looking forward to it. Yes. 1 in 8, actually.
  22. I find that the quality D-men run out much quicker than comparable forwards. The weight bug really makes the D selection weak. We've just started the 4th round, and all the (in my opinion) respectable D have been taken.
