Is this the only OHL rom out there that people know of?? I would love to update one to reflect the new season's rosters.

Thank you for the roster changes but the jerseys, at least the fyers ones, are still from two years ago. You can change them quite easily on nose.
Link me to the new ones and I will try my best to update em for you

I think there is also no top checking guy, ie 100 stat. I am not sure who this would be, but there should be one. Ben Eager maybe.
i'm having trouble opening this in my emulator... any suggestions??

Just to give you an update.... Things slowed down over Thanksgiving but I'm at it again.
I have 16 of the 30 teams completed. Shooting to have 20 done by midweek.
Hope to have it done completely by the holidays. I've also been taking alot more time on the ratings to make them realistic.
Once I have this game up and running I will be maintaining it regularly with the latest rosters so this isn't such a big project year after year.

As a big fan of this game I would like to thank you for your hard work already. If you get this done it is greatly appreciated.

I've started updating this ROM with the rosters for the 2010-2011 season and I'm utilizing the rankings from http://network.yardbarker.com/nhl/article_external/nhl_11_player_ratings/3167303 to help me out in most cases.
I'm done with 6 of the 30 teams at this point but I only started yesterday. I will keep everyone posted.

I was just wondering if anyone was working on putting together new ROMS for the 2010-2011 seasons of the NHL, AHL, OHL, WHL and QMJHL.
I had begun working on an NHL 95 ROM for the new NHL season but have been at a standstill lately. I hope to keep working on it in the coming weeks.

what do i need to do to change the palatte?

i have no idea about editing 95, but it looks somewhat similar to what can happen in 94 if you don't change the palette before you import the logo.
I changed it so the format was set to Genesis... The Palette was set to RGB...there are no Genesis options under the Palete dropdown.
any other feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

I'm trying to make an OHL ROM for the 2010-2011 season (based on NHL 95) and while trying to edit the rink logos in Tile Layer Pro
I didn't get the result I wanted.
I followed the Editing Ice Logos tutorial http://www.nhl94.com/html/editing/edit_bin_icelogos.php
and used 4 bit map files that I split in Photoshop from this file
I put the four bmp files over the oilers logo in Tile Layer Pro and got this result after I saved the file and opened the ROM in my GENS emulator
Doesn't look too peachy...
any ideas as to what I can do to get some good results?

Remember What SWOS and Mav did in 05/06, made A and B roms to accomodate the other teams
Anyone else up for taking a crack at making a 30 team NHL 95??? where is the almighty wboy??? Come and save us unworthy NHL 95 addicts!!!

I don't think anyone's ever done any work on adding extra teams to the game... (as far as I know wboy and I are the only ones with the background knowledge of how to do it, and it's a lot of work)
any chance somebody is up for the challenge of making a 30 team NHL95 for the upcoming season? I'd be willing to help with the roster updates

Dude this ROM is awesome!!! You are the best!!! Not to ask any more of you because you have certainly already done enough, but a 10/11 update would be totally awesome on this!!!

wboy made the 94 and 93 30-team ROMs, but he's not too active here anymore, so I think we're out of luck.

well if wboy or anyone else is up to the challenge of figuring it out I would be willing to do the roster updates for the upcoming season as long as i had a 30 team rom for NHL95 GENS
are there faq's on how to expand the rom to 30 teams?

I was wondering if anyone was ever able to create a version of NHL 95 for GENS with all 30 teams in it. The best I have is a version for GENS with last season's rosters and only 28 of the 30 teams in it. Any help would be much appreciated.

I was willing to make an NHL '95 rom with updated rosters and ratings; unfortunately, it appears that I am two teams short. I obviously won't start the project until I can actually figure out a way to get all NHL teams into the rom!

Loved 95... Loved it.
96 and 98 seemed to have pretty good GENS feel as well...
and yes 98 had fighting so that was a plus as I recall
Any chance somebody will be making an updated version of the NHL95 hack for the 2010-2011 season? It would be unreal if we could get a version with all the teams in it.

Awesome job on this one I've been playing it a bunch. I'm assuming u can't add Nashville and Columbus due to space constraints?
I don't know too much about making mods to the game but a few things I'd be loving if they could be incorporated into NHL95 would be:
1. Ability to have a 4th line on offense
2. Ability to have additional stats kept for the season as opposed to just a single game (SOG, PIM, Wins for Goalies)
3. Ability to keep career stats for your players, similar to dynasty mode in the newer versions of the game
I know all of these are probably wishful thinking but just thought I'd throw em out there. I love NHL95...best hockey game bar none. keep up the great work!!

Is anyone in the process of creating an updated ROM for the new season? I've toyed around with updating a few teams in NOSE with an older ROM but haven't decided on doing anything fullblown yet. It would be solid if there was a group of us that could all take on a division a piece and update the game as transactions occur.
