5 OT games so far, 5 losses within 1 min of OT

Just TRY to beat that record of ineptitude!!! -
If you see me online (wambotronique), msg me. I ONLY use that acct for this, so if I'm on, I can play. I also set up snesb2 hamachi network (same password). Obviously only 5 of us can join it, so we can make -1 -2 -3 as we need.

I can do that. I'll setup something in user profiles to enable/disable it. Hopefully next week (out of town this weekend) -
That's not very neighborly of you! What the hell ISP do you have that charges by usage?
-
Have you tried playing Snes? I've never had any lag issues on that, but I definitely see it on gens.

Practice paid off. Look how well we did!

Clearly I'm not doing my job in keeping pucks away from the net. Time to hit the practice rink.

seeking beta testers for 2013 ROM
halfMANhalfDONUT replied to trudatman's topic in Global Announcements
He doesn't really post on the forum much, but he played in SNES Classic B with me a few years ago. He plays on seahag (mostly against me). I watch a ton of NHL (probably too much), but my favorite team is NJ. I'll be able to give the best feedback on them and LA as far as attributes. Overall, though, I play everyone. -

New exhibition stats site for SNES (gens?)
halfMANhalfDONUT replied to halfMANhalfDONUT's topic in Global Announcements
There are now split standings between SNES and Genesis. You can find list of users per system as well as games. I also added disqus commenting on games so you can give your opponent a "gg" or talk smack, whichever. More updates later! -
I honestly cannot understand why people prefer the genesis version. I even grew up playing it on genesis and switched to SNES once I had an emulator. I think the "why SNES is better than Gens" has been beaten to death, so I'm not going to rehash that. It's just my opinion.

I played in the Blitz Farm league a few years back (genesis) and found it a bit difficult to get some people, but when I played in the SNES Classic (also a few years back), everyone was available. It might just be the sheer volume of Gens players vs SNES, making more leagues and the regulars spread too thin. I'd like to join the SNES Classic league again at some point, but I don't think I'll ever play in a genesis league again. The SNES version is just so superior IMO

Downloadable Offline League/Stat Extractor
halfMANhalfDONUT replied to Brutus's topic in Welcome Rookies
#2-- I set up http://sea-hag.net specifically for recording stats from exhibition games. There's no obligation to play anyone other than your friends, and so far it's worked out fine. It supports ZSnes and Gens save states. I believe there are standalone .exe stat extractors floating around somewhere, although I haven't personally used them. If there is some real interest in this, it's something I could look into. What features are you looking for in this? Do you want a local db to save the results with some sort of view? Or do you just want it to export CSV/xml/json? Both? -
Wow, this is amazing
