  1. Hey sorry for the delay...I 've been chipping away at the faceoff window sprites. It's quite tedious. This is what I got so far. The in-game uniforms are all set and you are more than welcome to copy and paste them. NHL93(94-95).bin Nonetheless thanks for your help
  2. Hello all, I wanted to share some work I did. I went in and changed the uniform sprites. Instead of having shared arm and leg stripes I made them separate. As well, I used the Skate blade colour as the shoulder stripe and have the middle arm/leg stripe as its own. So basically, Shoulder Stripes, trim, Arm/leg stripes, and Arm/leg trim all have their own colours CG86F4.bmp NHL93(94-95).bin Feel free to check it out or copy and paste the uniform sprites. I'd love to hear everyone's feedback!
  3. Hello, I was curious if anyone new where the graphic for the faceoff window was or if anyone knew how to take the sprite out altogether. I edited the player sprites to remove the shoulder stripe but the faceoff window doesnt match. If anyone is intereested in the edit let me know. Thanks.

  5. Hey yall, I made a bit of discovery. Not sure if you knew about it. At offset 8E92 the bytes before 008C are E740 0640 My assumption is that it is taking the square root of 64 (hex 40) and multiplying it by 7 Accordingly I took the E740 value and and changed it to E719 (decimal 25) This changed the players' weight values from what I observed to 140 + 5*wgt value. You can play with it more to maybe come up with other discoveries.
  6. Hey, I've been doing some work on a NHL 93 rom and had some trouble adding IMPROVED WEIGHT BUG FIX - CHECKING BASED ON WEIGHT AND CHECKING ATTRIBUTE at the end of the rom. The rom would simply not read it. That said, at offset FF40 i decided to add the checking value $0075 in place of the weight value for the checkee so it was D02B 0075. Unfortunately this made it all but impossible to check accordingly I decided to swap the values of the checker and checkee. That is 902A 0075 and D02B 0067. That way the checking value of the checker is Multiplied by 8 and weight value of the checkee is multiplied by 5. As such the checking value plays and important role in checking. After that, I went into NOSE and swapped the weight value and checking value and went into Hexeditor changed the text "Weight" to "Checking" and "Checking" to "Balance" This change worked quite well. The rom doesn't allow you to check the weight of the players but allows you to tinker with the Checking values to alter the flow of the game. If anyone has any questions please let me know.
