The L word being lag. I was thinkin the other day playin that my players seem alittle slow. So after playin online I played a few games vs the cpu just to test it out. The flow of the game was so much better, Bure was a speed demon out there. Its not that is super slow online, but the game is so fast & smooth normally. Try it out after playin a few games online see if its laggin at all. This game is so great when it doesn't lag at all, it is up & down the ice so quick, great flow to it.

hey don't be dissin my picks!! The Sens are a great team. They had the best offense in the league last year & there forwards are the same.. except they lost havlat who was out for a long time last year anyway. Yes there not as good but there team last year was sooo much better than everyone else.. thats why they may have missed there chance. Aneheim went to conference finals last year & the addition of Pronger makes there team sooo much stronger. In fact they are the favorite to win the cup in vegas right now!!!!!!! Detroit won the presidents trophy last year & the only player they lost was Shanahan & my favorite player Yzerman. Not to mention there goaltending hasimproved this season. They will finish top 3 in the conference I guarentee it. I checked the vegas line after your post & the 5 teams I mentioned are all among the top 7 favorites... & believe me the sports betting sites are almost always right ( the bastards!!!)

Nice pick whoever said the ducks. I did ok bettin on hockey last year. Sabres, Ducks, Redwings, Sens & Hurricanes are the front runners for sure. Trust me the Sens aren't finished. They still have great team. But no real favorites this year, the new NHL prevents teams from loading up to much, Ottawa last year by far had the best team. I'm gonna say Ducks & Sabres in the final. But I'll cheer for the wings

I actually never read your writeups Deer... but I read this one cause it was a battle between 2 of the best I would read more often if you included some writeups about league happenings etc... maybe if someone won 6+ in a row, or if jota & kid played.. or if someone had back to back shutouts etc... Of course there isn't much to write about these days anyway with no one playin

I posted this before the season started!!! Might as well just finish this season as planned & maybe make changes to next season. For me I love playin meanful games. I also like pressure & tension and all that so I'm definately in favour of a schedule and playoff format where games down the stretch become important. I have an idea of how the sched should go next season & I think everyone will like it. But I'll post it after the season is over!! For now lets focus on playin some games or there won't be a next season!! I posted this before the season started!!! The lack of participation discourages everyone from playin. I don't really want to play any more games & get so far ahead. What about this Deamon guy who keeps posting.... he missed registration right? why not kick out someone who has zero games & let him in. He seems to like posting & talking & I think he'll participate 100% I just looked today but the GEN league has 3 divisions where the # of games played in the division is more than are whole league combined. I think its time to learn a new 94

I believe it only does something when your playing with line changes..... cause the players will fatigue & a timeout well heal them up. No line changes..... I'm pretty sure it does nothing

I'd also like to add that it could be a great battle for the division title in the central. But its hard to get into it as Rudy & I have played 12 now & the other 3 teams have played 4 or less. Whats up with JOTAC & shakkazzukkazz they were strong players last season & shak hasn't played a game yet.

Ya but the way the season is scheduled over 2 months many of the GENs A guys won't have any games to play next month. Unless if the whole league is finished they will set up the playoffs for us early... if this were the case I'm sure alot of guys including the champ would play more games... Personally I think I'm the league leader in games played.. without 2 wins recorded & without a controller for 4 days!!!!! So things can't get any slower for me!!!!!!! SO COME ON GUYS at least play20 games by end of month!!!!!

from now on I'll skip it. But where it can really come into play is that if your player is cold he may not be able to accept passes or he may miss a few. It can really come into play with crappy teams, tryin playin with ANehiem or Florida when 2 of the forwards are cold they will miss every single pass!! Doesn't really affect the elite teams & rarely should anyone make a lineup change based on it.

3 of my wins now haven't been recorded (I'm away team) Don't really care I'll replay the games just don't want to see a habit of this. Whenever I lose the score gets posted ASAP so its kinda crap. Also...... 1 guy wanted to see the pregame hot & cold crap... does anyone wanna see that stuff, should I not skip it.

Still waiting on SNES pad...... do you guys find the SNES L & R triggs respond fast or do you have to press 3-4 times like me on the Xbox controller. Just wondering maybe same problem on SNES pad

I will be out for 1-2 weeks with a minor xbox controller injury. I'm ahead of the game right now anyway..... I ordered an SNES adaptor lookin forwarded to playin on that instead Some good competition in the A league so far.. but some have yet to play even 1 game. It doesn't feel like a season until the returning champ has played at least 1 game where is he??

I wouldn't let it phase you. For some reason when on the PP I really think the players are programmed to go to the net. So its very easy to score short handed. I don't see be shorthanded as a disadvantage at all..... unless your my team & selanne is not on the ice

Ok I gave it some thought and here are my league recommendations! 1. I think every sheduled game with an opponent should be 2 games of home/away. 1 game is so quick.. takes less then 10 min. Often it takes more time to setup the game than actually play just 1 game. So I'm in favour of an 80 game sched, just every sched game is 2 games. 2. I think 16 outta 18 teams making the playoffs is to many. The regular season becomes kinda meaningless IMOP. Many will already have made the playoffs half way through. ... My suggestion is either only 8 teams make the playoffs, so the regular season down the stretch becomes like the playoffs for many. Or 14 teams make the playoffs & the 2 conference leaders get a first round buy ---- I personally like the 8 team idea, I think down the stretch it would make for alot of important games, plus it would be a great battle just to get into the playoffs. With only 8 teams getting in.. I feel like I could possibly miss the playoffs with the high level of play in the league. Anyways.... just a couple of ideas I had... I got blasted for my $ idea SO let me just say THESE ARE JUST SUGGESTIONS!!!!

UDP never seems to work with router.. so that could be problem After playin the kid I played couple games vs jota, they ran perfect so I figured out the lag problem.... NO LAG NOW........ was worried for a minute though

is it possible to play 4 players online with any SNES emulators. I'm guessing the answer is no. Which is too bad cause 94 2on2 is pretty sweet
