  1. Well I guess Begley quit. Brutus led 2 games to 1 and is the first DGL 93 Champ. Congrats to Brutus and the Red Wings!
  2. Bizzaro ending to the DGL 93 Season for sure. Congrats Brutus on being the first DGL 93 Champ!
  3. Brutus and the Red Wings lead Begley and the Canadiens 2 Games to 1. http://oldtimevideogamesports.webs.com/ Good Luck to both buds. Lets finish this up and crown the first ever 93 Champion!
  4. Here it is. 20 min OT Brutus as Coach of Detroit. DGL93Playoff.bin
  5. We will have our first NHLPA 93 Champion by the end of the week. Both Semi-Finals were sweeps. Montreal (Begley) swept Toronto (jer33) 4-0 and Detroit (Brutus) swept Edmonton (CoachMac) 4-0 Great Job buds and Good Luck to both of you in the Finals. http://oldtimevideogamesports.webs.com/
  6. I found what seems to be a screw up in this. If you play the Rangers vs Senators. It shows the senators with a 4-0 PP Advantage. It should be the other way around if I read this right and higher is better. NYR 2 strong PP 0 strong PK OTT 0 weak PP 2 weak PK It holds true for any match up.
  7. It looks like an NHLPA 93 league is finally gonna make it to the finish line. http://oldtimevideogamesports.webs.com/ Only 4 Regular season games left and they are meaningless. The draft and regular season only took 6 weeks. Great job guys. Playoff seeding is locked. If you want to play out the regular season games that is fine. #1 Begley15 and the Montreal Canadiens finished 14-3-1 and are the President Trophy winners. They had the top offense in the League but were weak when it came to scrapping. The Habs will face the winner of the Toronto/Washington Series. #2 Detroit finished second. Capt Cojack drafted this bunch but never coached a game. Brutus stepped in and had the best defense and best scrapping team in the league. He even won the season series against Montreal. #3 Edmonton. Coach Mac brings Edmonton into the Playoffs with an 11-9 record and sits in the middle of about every statistical category. Edmonton vs Detroit. Season series was split 2-2. Prediction Detroit in 5. #4 Toronto. Jer33 brings a rough and tumble Leafs team into the playoffs. He was undefeated in fights with Gary Roberts until late into the season. #5 Washington. Coached by JackandJose. The Caps gave Montreal one of their few losses but played inconsistently throughout the season. Washington vs Toronto. Toronto won season series 3-1. Prediction Toronto in 7. #6 Chicago. Jeremy 9107 went OH fer. But hung in and won the majority of their scraps. By the end of the season they were much improved including a 3-2 OT loss to Toronto. Mercifully they are excused from the Playoffs. Thanks for finishing your season. I hope you come back for more. So with that being said.....Let the Playoffs begin.
  8. That is who I am. I use it for most everything. Most of the time I have to add numbers. All I did was sports growing up. All I've done as a grown -up is coach sports. Simple Man...Simple Name
  9. I love the Original post and use this info often, BUT Glen Wesley did fight certainly not much and 71 is wrong, but he did have a few scraps. Same with Jeff Lazaro not a 42 but also not 0. Adam Burt for Hartford should be a solid 71. Adam Graves for the Rangers also should have a 71. Dale Hunter and Ulf deserve their 71. Dirk and Murzyn for Vancouver should be 71. Scott Stevens should be a 71. Dave Lowry and Owen Nolan should be 71. Claude Boivin should be a 71. Messier should be more than a 14 maybe 28. and Paul Coffey was not a 0. He had 4 scraps in 91. Joe Cirella should be a 71 and so should Sylvain Lefebve. Derian Hatcher should be a 71. Greg Gilbert and Grant Ledyard should be 42.
  10. I am annoyed by the rankings in my favorite game NHLPA 93 because of the Russian bias. Igor Kuperman did the rankings. I bet he is Russian. Valeri Zelepukin (84) is better than Brett Hull and Cam Neely. His best season was 26 goals. That was in 94. He scored 13 in 92 the year it is based on Evgeny Davydov (75) is better than Theo Fleury and Doug Gilmour. He scored 4 goals in 92. His best season was 28. Alexi Kasatonov (81) was good, but better than Scott Stevens (80)? Valeri Kamensky (68) scored 7 goals in his rookie season of 1992. Mats Sundin (66) had scored 23 in 91 and 33 in 92 and Kamensky is rated better. Anatoli Semenov (77) maxed out at 20 goals in 92 and is rated higher than Kevin Stevens (75) who score 56 in 1992. No doubt that lots of great Russians came in the league in the 90's and desefved big rankings (Bure, Mogilny, Federov) but the bias bugs me. Come on Wayne Gretzky is a 77? He was third in scoring with 121 points and he is the Great One. All the aforementioned Russians were better? I feel better now. I am making an improved Rom that will fix the glaring errors while keeping 90% of the rankings the same.
  11. Welcome Brutus as the new coach of Detroit in DGL 93. The league is going great. Playoffs hopefully start May 15. 1 month Regular Season. Thanks to Begley, jer33, jackandjose, jeremy9107, and brutus. Lets finish strong. http://oldtimevideogamesports.webs.com/
  12. My congrats go out to Jer33. Always a class act and fun to play. Good Luck in the Finals.
  13. Here it is. DGL93Final.bin
  14. I have it completed. Ron Barr quotes are updated. GDL logo is gone. Jer33 was the only one who gave me lines. So I guess the rest of you are happy with them or happy to change them. I fixed duplicate numbers. Roenick is wearing 97 in Montreal. If you have a particular request let me know or else be happy with what I picked for your dupes. I will wait until tonight to release it which gives you all day to let me know any changes. Things are going great Begley is half way home and undefeated. Jer33 is kickin a-- in fights. Dave Mansons victory over Kevin Hatcher is his only loss. Buchberger and Rob Ray went toe to toe. And my favorite was when Dave Manson dropped Jagr. It has been fun to see some of the stars fight. We will be in the playoffs by early May. Web-site is updated thru last nights games.
  15. Thanks Jer anyone else need any adjustments made? Season started last night. Bagsey is off to a 4-0 start. I will get a final rom out in a few days. You can use the preseason one for official games and manually change your lines. Remember to report scores and fight results. The official web-site is here: http://www.oldtimevideogamesports.webs.com/ Also if you want me to include include a special intro from Ron Barr before the game PM me with what you would like him to say.
  16. Here it is let me know your lines. DGL93.bin
  17. Free Agency and trades are open thru Sunday at midnight. I hope to have the rom ready by Monday Night for preseason action and get the season started by next weekend. We will just have to manually keep stats I guess. http://oldtimevideogamesports.webs.com/ So when game is complete report score and Fight won-loss record. No Individual stats just team. I have a of cool hack we could include if everyone agrees. Line changes on but your players never fatigue. So you could use line 1 the whole game and it would be just like the line changes were off. However you would also be able to use Line 2 if you desire. Again no one ever fatigues. The only side effect is sometimes the game will play your back up goalie. Of course you could just sub him out.
  18. Edmonton selects Dave Brown.
  19. Edmonton selects Kelly Buchberger and Billy Ranford Jeremy9107 is skipped but may make his selections at any time.
  20. I show Cojack to be in compliance with league rules. He just has to draft fighting defensemen with his last 2 picks of skaters. Current Detroit roster 4 Skilled Forwards 1 Gartner 2 Yseabaert 3 Hull 4 Ciccarelli 2 Fighting Forwards 1 Probert 2 Shanahan 2 Fighting Defensemen 1 Iafrate 2 Chiasson
  21. Edmonton confirms the trade with Detroit. Hull for Klima Edmonton selects Grant Fuhr to end the 8th round and picks Marty McSorley with the first pick of round 9.
  22. Bagsey J9107 and capt Cojack are all skipped. I will wait and make my picks tomorrow at 9am to give them a chance to jump in. Jack and Jose and Jer 33 your picks are good and official.
  23. 2 on 2 roms have led me to the ultimate challenge. Try playing 2 or 3 on 5 against the computer. Just set your team to 2 skaters in NOSE and leave everybody else with 5. Fun and challenging.
