  1. Very cool Bud. Is it going to be put in the editor somehow?

    $25 REWARD!!!

Actually, the font is one of the few things not compressed so it's quite easy. Sorry.
  3. Evan, do you have the hex numbers for the other set of banners too (the ones on the scoreboard and on edit lines screens etc...) Great tutorial. It's been awhile since I did much of the graphic editing.
  4. Here's some screens from my old 2002-03 version for the snes. Haven't been able to change the logos themselves, just the colors of them. SNES_94_v1.A_0000.bmp SNES_94_v1.A_0004.bmp
  5. In a few minor ways it is. One - Fighting, and Two - Blood. Plus you can put them together and knock a guy out for the game. Just classic. Just need to add those to 94 and add a season mode and I'd be happier than a pig in sh!t.

    Odd NHL logos

Ummmmmm I didn't say anything about the Canucks jerseys. Read more carefully.
  7. Awesome man. Love the old kings logo in there too. Some sick passing plays.
  8. So..........................what's with the redmen? Is that An Amercian Indian term or is it like the blue man group?

    Odd NHL logos

Legend has it that the "H" on the Canadiens logo stands for "Habs" instead of "Hockey" as in Club de Hockey Canadien. In 1924, Madison Square Garden owner Tex Rickard was falsely told by someone that the "H" stood for "habitant", a French word that in those days was used to denote the farmers of Quebec. Rickard was told that the French players on the team came from the farms and that they were therefore "habitants" or "Habs". At the time, the Canadiens were considered Montreal's "French" team, as opposed to the primairly "English" Montreal Maroons. From habs.com
  10. Like I told you before, just awesome. Thanks for all your help as well. A wicked idea and a great way about doing it.
  11. That frame skipping is awesome. Games take like 2 minutes tops to sim.
  12. Sure, mackhockey@rogers.com Your site is awesome by the way. Thanks.
  13. Evan, I am kinda hooked (no pun intended) on full rules and line changes on lately. I find it makes you look deeper into your line up and it's not the same one or two guys scoring all the time. Also you can't just blast the c button to catch everyone as it will tire you out and draw some penalties too. Cheers.
  14. So is is possible to get the actual 'form' from you? It's OK if you don't want to share. The test thing is awesome but I don't want to directly copy your site. Thanks man.
  15. So any chance of getting that 'form'?
  16. AH, I see. I thought there was an actual turbo option. Thanks guys.
  17. Could I grab that php off you? What is the turbo feature? Never realized there was one.
  18. That's awesome bud. That's the sort of thing I did with NHL Htz Pro. Do you have a program that figures out the save %'s etc... or do you do everything by hand. Also do you play every single game? Just wondering how it all works.
  19. I find it just depends on the type of game I feel like playing. Obviously if my buddies and I just feel like lighting it up we'll play no rules but I do enjoy playing full lines and penalty game as well. More startegy is put into your second and third lines. That is where you see how much depth a team has.
  20. OOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!! There, I yelled out.
  21. I was about to sign up Evan but I don't like the options (rules) the league is using. Oh well not everyone can be happy with them. Good luck to all participants and have fun.
  22. Just curious, I've been playing a ton of 94 the last few days and love the highlights from other games between periods. What is the most highlights you've seen during one intermission. The most I've seen lately is 3 games and 4 goals. I love cheering for the team that is down so they can tie it so they have to show another goal. One replay took 1:38 seconds for a goal and went in with 1 second left in the game.
  23. Well I had a few hours off today (a huge rarity) and decided to play a couple different versions of classic NHL. Played 98 and enjoyed it, I changed the color of the ice so it's cleaner looking, slowed the players down and eased up on the goalies. The biggest flaw I noticed was how the defenders will go back and sit in front of their net. Good for defensive hockey but it's just not something you do. Also the goalies aren't as floppy as 94 etc.. which takes away some of the goalmouth scrambles and excitement. So I then played 95 which I really love because of the league mode and a closer resemblance to the originals than 96-98. No fighting kind of sucks and the puck needs to stay in the rink more but the deking and one timers are great. Not too many long shots go in unless it's a one timer or something. Almost find it a bit fast more my liking right now. Lastly I threw in 94 and I have to admit, I kinda forgot how much fun the original look and feel the early games had. Goals come off all different ways. 2 on 1's , one timers, long shots, flukes and scrambles are so much fun and the D will attack you wherever you are. Something about those quirky graphics just seem fantastic too. Just wish fighting and blood stayed in it. Oh well. Anyone have a good way of playing a season while collecting stats etc... My point being 94 is now over 10 years old and does so many things better than games around today. It's a real shame. I think I am going to be spending more time with 94 and the likes. Oh and the BEST part of any game ever.......highlights from other games. Damn, now bring that back EA. Later boys!
