I never could figure it out bro. Not sure if anyone else ever did. About the only thing other than the players themselves you can edit is the look of the zamboni.

No actually the crowd in 98 is pretty bland. Only 95 I toned down.

Just been fooling around with my current hack of 98 and had a great game between Boston and Anaheim. I was Anaheim and hung on for a 4-3 win. They outshot me 35-29 and the hits, faceoffs and penalties were pretty close as well. Thorton and Fedoruk had a good fight in the second.
I am playing on All-Star with speed set to low. I am putting all speed and endurance ratings down as I feel 96-98 were too fast. This allows for a greater range for those that still want to bump gameplay to normal or fast. Also I made the goalies a little easier as I found the goalies almost too good in 96-98 (on All-Star anyways)

Trust me when I say such testing didn't take that long with the aid of the editor.
Like yourself or any other sane person, trying to do arrange data to produce valid results for such tests with only a hex editor would not only burn you out, but probably make your brain physically explode!!!

I've managed to put Sidney Crosby in place of Shane Corson in NHL HITZ PRO and reburned it and used it on my modded PS2 so I am sure something can be done here. Went to pick up the pc version of 06 last night but they only had XBox and PS2 versions and well I am only buying one verion of the game. I'll "aquire" the PS2 version hopefully today or tomorrow.

I am going to the Hockey hall of fame in T.O. for a release party for EA Sports NHL 06 tomorrow afternoon. Vinny LeCavalier will be there too. Will let you know how things go.

Is it possible to make the circle smaller and perhaps less noticeable? Also make it a light grey or something you don't notice too much.
