Well SNES 94 is a little different than genesis as names can be exactly the length of bytes needed. Can't do much about graphics but I used an SNES Color editor to play with colors and change uni's etc..

I did one two years ago, I'll have it back up on my site soon.

I do enjoy a good game against the comp too. I find the games can really be different form one to another. Some games are blow outs and sometimes the comp plays a strong game.

I have been having some really fantastic games of 95 lately. It's nice having a real season mode too. I am not oging to say which I enjoy more but I do have fun with them both for different reasons.

I did that once in real hockey..................well not really, but this guy I know did..............well not really but I saw it on tv once...............ok I am making it all up

94's about the only snes game I like enough to go looking for a game. Nice site. Looks like that one guy wins every tournament though.

It's kind of funny but they left all the names of the rinks in the game but to my knowledge they don't appear anywhere. Unless their is some obscure menu in the game that mentions them. Makes a lot of extra bytes that can go to adding roster spots etc... This has been Macks tip of the day.

Hey Evan, would it be possible to add a nhl 91 (hacked of course), nhl 96, 97 and 98 forums too. I know they aren't the amazing 94 but some of us still play them.

I have an emulator for modded PS2 called pgen I believe and plays everything great. The emulator goes on the CD with hundreds of games. Heck, I've played all our hacks on it too.

I have a couple more ideas for the logo that I will try and get up soon. You guys have given me a couple of good hints and wboy seems to like where a few of them are going.

So I am chasing Bednar down from behind and I whack him and I get a delayed penalty, he winds up and fires a slapper and scores. I thought oh well at least no penalty now. Penalty no, Penalty shot yes. They get a goal and now a penalty shot. I stopped the penalty shot but I don't think I have ever had that one before. Cheers.

I use a PS2 to USB converter too and I love it. Bought it like 3-4 years ago.

I have that kicking around somewhere but it it's not nearly as polished wboy's. It had much more limitations but was a good start. I had forgotten about it actually.

Alright a couple of ideas for the editor. I had a pretty busy day yesterday between work and firefighting training so this is all I came up with so far. For names EASE (did it with ease) or (eas-e as in easy) or NOSE (Nhl Old School Editor) I liked your idea of the puck but i thought what better than the puck we've fought over for more than a decade. Watching this blocky disc fly around the screen seemed perfect. The NHL font in '94 I find is the most familiar so I went with that for the most part. I am going to try a cartdridge logo as well and mess around with a few other ideas too. My fav is the puck in the circle. Reminds me of both the NHL Licensed Products logo and an old Hockey Night In Canada logo (old school feeling).

Jota - I don't like the sound of Saturday night games.
