What is the offset that you find the player cards at for wboy's 30 team rom in Tile Molester? Maybe I just couldn't find it, but I was searching through the forum the other day to see if anyone had posted the offsets for the player cards and other graphics and didn't find it. Could I inconvenience you Stevie to post the offsets for the player cards, team banners, ice and menu logos, startup screens, and in-game score box logo? These graphics are the only thing holding back my rom edit, and I largely have the graphics ready to be imported.

What is the preferred video software among the members here who have made highlight compilation videos? I've tried a few freeware ones, and none have worked. All have had an error when combining my WMV files. So what video software do you guys use, that does not create a watermark?

When does the schedule come out? In Gens C there are 18 teams, so I take it I would play teams in the other divisions twice each, teams in my division 3 times each and make up the remainder wherever? I'm just glad I got the St. Louis Ooze..er Blues.

The theme from Jaws is that main reason to play as San Jose, right above Wilson's shot. It's especially cool when the song keeps playing when play resumes, like the NBA only more cool!

How early did you get in the draft?

I could help with editing the jerseys of all of the teams. Besides that, I have no experience in changing the center ice logos or other graphical editing. What are you going to do about some of the other graphics that I'm not sure there is an editor for, such as the jerseys in the team selection screen and the higher resolution team logos in the matchup screen? It sounds great though! I would love to start another season on 95 with an updated game. And keeping the game updated wouldn't be that difficult once you get it caught up to the present.

If anyone is interested in joining a fantasy hockey league, I'm looking for some more players. It's a point-based league through Yahoo. I have it set for large roster sizes, essentially 4 forward lines (3 C, 3 LW, 3 RW, 3 F) and 6 D, 2 G, with 4 bench players. Standard point categories, but also included is points for faceoff win %. League ID# is 6676 Password is 'blues'

I like Blue also. I'll sometimes throw in Fitzpatick over Healey on NYI also. But the backups mentioned so far are very similar in ratings to the starter. Does it make any sense, statistically, to take out a starter that is rated higher in every attribute than the backup? If Roy allows goals on the first 3 shots you still don't take him out.

I'm wanting to make a rom that plays 4 on 4. I know there are roms out there that play 1 on 1, 2 on 2, etc. I have never downloaded or played those so I have to plead ignorance there. When I last set my rom to have teams that only had 4 starters, the game freezes at the start menu when the profile pics load up because I realize that they don't match the roster numbers when I added new players in NOSE. I've seen that addressed in the forum and I'll correct that. It would also freeze at the Ron Barr screen when I had only 4 starters...setting it 5 on 5 for the starting line and 4 on 4 for scoring line 1, 2, and checking line in NOSE fixed that. However, the game also freezes when I try to change the lines in-game when there are 4 skaters per line (2 O, 2 D). Has anyone else encountered this problem of editing the lines in-game when setting the skaters to less than 5?

You just do whatever you have to do to get it to work. I have your first version and it is very cool, and I, like everyone else, am just looking forward to this whenever it gets done.

Has anyone successfully used the nhl9395 editor to change the name of a team? I did this, but then when I started a league and went to look at that team's stats through the standings page the game freezes. I also couldn't edit that team's lines in the game. I changed it back to what it was originally and I was able to look at the stats. Does it have to have the same number of characters or something? Has anyone else encountered this problem or been able to change a team name?

Didn't really play that much 95 so I don't remember off hand how to block shots. I assume it is the same button/combination in the PC version, but I usually go for the check. Computer players often do it on their own though. That's where the fake shot deke comes in handy. There is also a drop pass feature in 95 (at least as per wikipedia) but I don't know that one either. The shot fake really in my opinion is the only significant gameplay improvement made since '94.

I played out a full season on 95 on dosbox a little while ago with a custom team comprised of guys I used to play with in a league (team name Fighting Clitori: jerseys were royal blue with the GI Joe Cobra logo in red). I saved a few highlights over the course of the season and just made one of them into a GIF. It's now my profile pic...just thought I'd share because I thought it was the greatest defensive play I have ever seen in a hockey video game.

I'm curious where you found 2002 for download for the PC. All I can find is the demo version. But to take this further, does anyone know where to find downloads of any other PC versions of the NHL series? I've already got 93 and 95 for use with dosbox. I also own 96 for the PC, but unless I could get it to work with doxbox it doesn't work with XP.

You make it sound like the grand unifying theory of physics! That would be excellent though. Certain players on here would have to stop checking my guys after the play.

I think it's great that people want to edit the game, whether it is 94 or 93 or another year. Hopefully it turns out good, it sounds like you're not wanting to look past any detail to make your 86 rom. I don't think such a terse tone is necessary for a response, whatever you may think of his efforts in finding things out for himself. Hopefully he shares his hacked rom with everyone when it is done. And if asking for help from other people helps him get it done faster, then I don't see anything wrong with that.

I've got a 1.5 mbps dsl connection but I am wireless now because I recently moved and the room I have the computer in only has cable hookup, no phone line. While the connection usually ranges from Good to Very Good on the wireless, I noticed a little more lag than when I had a direct connection at the same speed before moving. I'm considering upgrading to 3.0 mbps (but the wife probably won't let me anyway). I was wondering what connection speed you guys have and how much lag you think your games have. More importantly, has anyone here upgraded from 1.5 to 3.0 and noticed a significant improvement? Playing 94 would be the only reason for paying more per month so there would really have to be a difference in gameplay.

I noticed something interesting. The computer scored a really nice goal on me, deflection in the high slot after a shot from the point from a faceoff win, so I checked out the replay. In the replay the crease was blue, while in normal play it is the color of the ice. This isn't something I have checked out with other hacked roms or even again in this rom. I was just wondering if anyone else had noticed this too.
