  1. Excellent Rom. Coming from a Blues fan, it's always nice to see a hacked rom the goes back to the glory days instead of updating current rosters. I had wanted to mess with copying and pasting the 92 game's rosters into 94 to have the same type of rom, but with grad school I haven't had any time. And now I don't have to! The website you gave in the first post in this thread with all of the team's jerseys is very cool. I did notice though that in St. Louis' home jersey you had a white stripe on the sleeve bordered by a yellow stripe. The middle stripe should really be blue. No biggie, these games have never been able to really give a good Blues jersey it seems. In the original rom it is basically Edmonton's jersey. Might I suggest this site I just ran across though: http://www.sportslogos.net/annuals.php?sea...1&Submit=Go . Again, coming from a Blues fan, people tend to use the current Blues logo when they list the logos for NHL 94. or in this case 91/92. It's even on the banner on this site's main page. That sports logos site has the actual Blues logo from these years, with the red trim, "St. Louis" in the note and smoother edges on the wing (I know yours are smooth, this site's banner is not). One last Blues criticsm and I swear I'm done, Hull had 86 goals that year, not 87. He would have broken Gretzky's record if Oates didn't miss about 20 games that year. That's also why he HAS to be the best shooter in the game. I hope I don't come off as a jerk by pointing out a few things, the rom is great!
  2. The controls have always worked fine for me, but I use a logitech controller. Quick question though. I haven't played a netplay game with Kega Fusion yet, but I want to because I don't like the slowdown on Gens. I set up my router for port forwarding just as this thread outlined and created a static IP. Now is that all that has to be done before I create a game? I know the player that joins the game has to know the static IP that I set up. Does the joining player, also using a router, have to set up a static IP and port forwarding too? AIM is Terrordome7 for anyone that wants to give Kega a try.
  3. I would love to assign one of the XYZ buttons to use for line changes. I'd prefer to not have to dump the puck down the ice to change lines...would like to do it with puck control.
  4. Well I keep having an error message (in French no less) when I try to download 95, and a 33 or 34 kb php error file is all I can get downloaded using the download accelerator recommended by wboy, even when using the ftp given. Using download accelerator plus I get a zip file, but it too is just 33 or 34 kb. I searched around some links from the Abandonware site and apparently that is the only site that carries 95. However, a few carry the PC version of 93, just called NHL Hockey. I think this is actually the game I had for pc way back in the day, not 95. It can be downloaded here: http://486games.net/game.php?id=121 You can play full seasons, with stats kept track of. It's pretty cool, there is an intermission report between periods of your games where it will show a highlight from another game and scores around the league, cool when you're watching other teams in the standings. There is no goaltender control but there are one-timers. For help in getting Dosbox started, this link should help: http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.p...ation+of+DosBox
  5. I also would love to know of a place where this could be downloaded. I had it once, but that was more than 10 years ago now. The jersey editor sounds really cool, especially since the teams don't follow a set template: i.e. the screenshot shows the capitals with stars on their sleeves.
  6. That game was great, and you could play out an entire season. I'm pretty sure at the end it awarded trophies to several players in the league, so the stats would accumulate. It did play like 94 instead of 95 on the Genesis, but the detail was better than in 94. Did you create the screenshot yourself or did you find it somewhere? Windows XP does not support the NHL series before NHL 99 or so. Does anyone have NHL 95 for the PC and get it to work with XP?
  7. I apologize if this has been done and I just haven't found it yet, but has anyone imported the 92 rosters and player attributes for use in 94? If not then it's something I'd take up eventually. I'd like to have the North Stars back, the Christmas Devils jerseys, and Oates and Stevens back on the Blues. Playing 92 is great, but it would be better with one-timers, goalie control, being able to edit lines during the game and having the actual player names.
  8. For jersey and player information (rosters, stats) go to www.hockeydb.com Then find the league you want, in this case the NHL. This site is great for stats.
  9. How would I go about assigning the profile pic to a specific player in the game? It seems that only the starting line for each team has pictures on each team's roster, with the exception of the All-Star teams that share those graphics with the other teams. I am wanting to create new rosters, in which one team has pics for all of its players and then the other teams' starting lines have the generic player images. In essence I could do this with the All-Star teams on the original rom, but it would change the other teams' player images as well to the ones I am wanting to use. How do you add pictures and then assign those profile pictures to all of the players on a single non-all star team?
  10. Anyone who has played regularly with the Blues should know that the best player on this team that had Hull, Janney, Shanahan, and Brown is Nelson Emerson. He's not on the default starting line, but put him in and he'll control the play. He's the player I've racked up the most goals with.
  11. I am new to editing and wanted to play with team colors. The only examples really given through this site of hex color codes are yellow (0006) and gray (CCCC). When I search the internet for hex color codes I find that yellow is FFFF00 and gray is 808080, and black is 000000. Using hex workshop, 0000 is black, but I am having some difficulty when NHL 94 determines colors using 4 digits and everywhere else I look online hex color codes are 6 digits. Is there anywhere that lists 4 digit hex color codes or can someone write in a list of common colors? Basically I need at least a royal blue, red, and green.
