the league is up and going, I havent been on it much so we havent advanced past the 1st 4 games so people are more than welcome to join in whenever, I'd love to play with people!

^This. I'll admit to in the past (like GDL 5 or 6 whatever the last one I played) I would rage when playing, slamming my controller all sorts of that junk. I would never quit a game early then and never do now (just look I took a 14-0 loss vs. VC in Blitz and turned it right around to win 2 of 3). I also hate when someone pauses to cut off my goal song when I score in a home game, I'm 100% sure is psychosomatic but I feel the goal music gives me a little boost especially when I'm trying to make a comeback. So please don't pause after my goal music starts, if you wanna give a little "stick tap" pause for a nice goal please quickly pause and unpause right after the goal and don't wait for the music to start. But yeah, moral of the story is its a game just have FRIGGING FUN! Don't get so effing worked up about losing, its not that big of a deal, your job isn't on the line or anything like that. So keep calm and have fun, trust me once you start feeling that way you will get better at the game. (Again look at my records since GDL 5 I'm sure my overall winning % is much better since I've stopped taking it too seriously)

Wiggy if you want in feel free to join, its not like there would only be 4 teams, the AI controls all the teams not human controlled. So far I'm Philly and 2 of my friends are the Islanders and the Blues so the other 27 teams are available

Hitz was awesome. The gamecube version was actually really good, better than the ps2 version in my opinion (steadier framerate, faster loads)

Not true Tom, they have had online leagues since at least NHL '10 if not '09 (they put it in NHL and FIFA before they did it in Madden). NHL '13 just has even more stuff for the online leagues including an app for iPhone/Android that lets you make trades etc from your phone. And setting up leagues in it is super easy you just all have to be on the same system give the name and password to people you want in it and go. I'd be more than willing to set up an NHL '13 league on PS3 when that comes out

I love NHL '12 (at least once I figured out the work-around for being able to actually load my Be A GM mode) and its really not that hard of a game, I play on All-Star difficulty and I'm like 35-4

unfortunately he's not a sports guy, but that does sort of give me an idea for my bachelor party next year......

The problem for the Preds in matching isn't the AAV of the deal, it's the fact that the Flyers have offered him $27M in the first year of the deal. $27M is more than 15% of what the entire Nashville organization is valued at. So it's a question of do the Preds have that kind of money to give to 1 person, and I'm not sure they do.
