I'm almost positive that the Flyers radio broadcast uses the Sega CD version of the NHL '94 theme as the music bed during the intermission report with the scores from around the league. Someone please listen and let me know. Its possible to listen to the radio broadcast either thru the Flyers website or on iTunes (Sports Radio 610 WIP)

holy s**t, you play 20 Min periods! thats just nuts, how many goals do you guys score in a game? and Genisis or SNES to answer the question I don't care either way, no offsides makes for a more free-wheeling almost box lacrosse style action (and i'm a HUGE lax fan) so i appreciate that style. That said I also appreciate a more methodical game and wouldnt mind playing with offsides on.

to be honest I'd imagine almost anyone from this site would probably crush most mortals with any team in NHL 94. When I first got on to this site I thought I was GREAT at the game but after a few games I realized how crazy good some people are at the game compared to me.

well just FYI its double-elimination and you can only use a team once until you lose first game then it resets and you can reuse teams after that

I dont get the Auto Line Changes, I mean I use it in the newer NHL games beacuse you still get to manually do the line changes as well but correct me if I'm wrong but it doesnt work that way in '94 does it?

If I didnt have work or if the prize was something I'd use (aka not beer) I'd totally go play. If anyone from here does go please light up these people, put up like 30 goals in a game and they will surely change their minds on the rules. Let me know how it goes and hopefully the next time somewhere in the Philly area does a tourney I will be able to go

thats true that the scenario I brought up was highly unlikely but just throwing it out there. Couldnt we go thru the Playoff Draws in NOSE and set up all the playoff matchups and play on the best-of-7 playoffs mode? (tho i do vaguely remember trying to do this with my bro a few years back and it glitching out after 1 game when playing online)

so I just have one issue to bring up it wound up not costing me the game but the 99:59 OT might not be the best way to do this, in my game 5 Sandstrom got hurt for the period in OT and thats kind of crippling and also isnt it conceivably possible for say all 4 D men get hurt?

I personally like the way the divisions are set up now, I know people are nostalgic for the divisional play but this isnt the old days, keep the 6 5-team divisions. Phoenix is not going to Quebec they would need to buld a new arena and Toronto and Buffalo will squash any team trying to move to Hamilton. I think in all honesty Seattle and Kansas City are the 2 most likely destinations for relocation. KC has the Sprint Center that's only 4 years old, and the NHL has been playing preseason games there in effort to drum up interest. Seattle may also need to build a new arena to really get consideration for a team but I think the NHL would rather move Phoenix to Seattle rather than Quebec. I really just want them to take the easy way and put Nashville in the Southeast, let Detroit keep whining about their "but you promised us we'd be in the east".

My idea of Dynasty League would be with Line changes, 18 player roster (9F, 6D, 2G +1 extra), salary cap like before, but i'd need someone to help me with database stuff cause I wouldnt want to do it without stat tracking
