I'm certainly fine with this idea...I'll base in on power rankings for the draft...the only thing is...i havent played in the league..so i will have no power ranking points....im not sure if i should be first in the draft....but either way....sounds good

thanks again to all coaches who have signed up.....please take the time to edit one of your posts and provide me with a bigger list of teams you want(preferably your top 15)....and those that haven't posted a 'team preference list' can do so at any time.

A lot of first round sweeps so far. Of the first 13 series completed(all leagues)...there were 8 sweeps. Think the first round will finish with atleast 50% of the teams swept?

that's true...but the regular season WILL mean something because you are fighting for a spot in the 'A" playoffs (which is tougher to do since only half the teams make it)....Like I say....this is just a fun league and has no bearing for this website (like year end awards they hand out at the end of playoffs..etc.) I just thought this would be a good way to have a league...have everyone play everyone the same amount of times (one home, one away)..and the best 8 players will play in the 'A" playoffs...and the rest will play in the 'B"...So the weaker players can play the top notch players during the regular season and try to improve their game and still enjoy a chance at a run in the playoffs.

I'll make the cut off at 16 teams....4 spots remaining....If i get 16 teams...since this is just a fun league...i'd like to run a 30 game league(play each team twice)...after the regular season is complete..the top 8 will play in the 'A' playoffs...and the bottom 8 will play in a 'B" playoffs.. .its a little different from this site..but it gives everyone a chance to play in the playoffs....with less chance of mismatches in the opening round of the playoffs....sound okay?

lol...no im not russian...if i was...i would be with anna kournikova... keep in mind your ranking was before the playoffs...ill update after the first round series are over..and you'll jump a few spots from your first round win.

hey auggie..thanks for your teams...just to let you know it wont be in order of the way people signed up but rather a random draw(which i will determine at a later date once i finialize the league teams)...so you could get first pick or anywwhere in between right to second last pick (ill take the final pick of whats left)

i'm a SNES player...If i remember correctly...the 93 version was a much better game for genesis then SNES...there were more ways to score....SNES had the'crease cut' goal and a few places you could shoot from but other then that it was a weak game... as for the 94 version..I've liked the SNES version better then genesis. I've felt like I have more control over what I want my players and goalie to do when I want them to do it.

Is that for genesis or SNES?
