  1. You reap what you sow with your a**hole attitude towards me when I don't respond for games. Maybe it doesn't get through that thick skull of yours that I might be busy or not at the computer? Your bullsh*t claim falls on deaf ears from me. I'm not afraid to ruffle yours or anyone elses feathers. I'll unblock you and KG for the sake of playing, and afterwards I'm done with you. I have no time for scum. I look forward to your trying to run up the score on me.
  2. I would propose adding a "Lovable Losers"* wing, a section honoring players who don't always get the results they expect, but work their rears off to be competitive and improve at every step of the way. * - Name is a work in progress.
  3. Fair enough. *gives jrodimus a bag of 500 pennies* Hey, they were lying around...might as well spend'em. Some of'em might have a lot of dust on them
  4. In my past few GDL games, I have played passable 1st and 2nd periods, yet in the 3rd period...I change nothing about my defensive approach, and I'm giving up like 5 and 6 goals per 3rd period. It just baffles me to no end how I can be competitive in the 1st and 2nd periods of a game, and in the 3rd period, bring that same intensity, and give up AT LEAST 5 goals and lose the game by a wide margin. Any advice to potentially stop the bleeding and get back on the right path towards a few more wins?
  5. I see your 85-game losing streak with a run of 34 out of 35 losses AND many games in which I've had a lead of at least two or three goals and blown them in typical SSiG fashion. I shall not give up this fight that easily!!! Give me my belt back. GFG
  6. Replace the regular pucks with radio controlled pucks that you control. *shrug* That's all I can come up with...oh wait, that and pray. Pray a lot.
  7. Capitals Take Their Steps, Pederson a Force How do you stop the Washington Capitals? Don't let Tom Pederson hit you. From a career backup to now one of the most important pieces in the Capitals lineup this season, Tom Pederson has lowered the boom on opposing players all season since Tom Delgado came in and started showing faith in his abilities. "I can't really explain it" Pederson said in a recent interview. "Coach has shown faith in me by giving me a lot of ice time, so I'm trying to repay him by putting on a good show. I've been hitting people as hard as I can, and it appears to be working well" Pederson said. Most recently, Tom Pederson had the game-tying goal against the Sabres on home ice. "I don't consider myself a goalscorer, but whatever I can do to help the team, I'll do it. I'll even be the mascot if necessary *laughs*" Pederson added about his contributions to the team. "Tom's been our enforcer this season, no doubt about it" Coach Delgado said briefly. "He's an important part of our team and I look forward to his continued contributions" Delgado added before walking off to sign a few autographs...or were those traffic tickets? 8. Edmonton 5 Detroit 3 Detroit 4 Edmonton 3 (OT) gg's...btw, Probert is currently 1-0-1 in fights Probert v. Manson (Draw) Probert v. Tikkanen (Probert wins) BOS 3 @ DET 7 Yzerman's double hat trick leads Wings to win over upstart Bruins. Fight: Bob Probert d. Vladimir Ruzicka DET 9 @ BOS 6 The defenses stayed in bed today as Federov lights Moog up for 5 goals. Yzerman added a hat trick. Cam Neely's 4 goals not enough as Boston falls. Fight: Bob Probert d. Don Sweeney A funny note: In game 1...Andy Moog somehow scored off an attempted pass that somehow got by Tim "Huge Five Hole" Cheveldae. DET 6 @ WSH 5 (OT) Yzerman's 4 leads the Red Wings to a thrilling OT victory! Bondra and Ridley had a pair for the Capitals, who were hampered by Hatcher being KO'ed for the game after losing a fight w/Bob Probert. Fight: Bob Probert d. Kevin Hatcher (Hatcher out for rest of game) WSH 5 @ DET 7 Not only did Probert score a pair, but he was named 2nd star of the game. Detroit nearly coughed up a 5-1 lead, but held it together down the stretch. Fight: Bob Probert d. Kevin Hatcher (Short, yet exciting rematch) gg's Bob Probert Fight Record: 5-0-1
  9. Tonight as well as getting more GDL games in, I'm gonna look to get these games in...so hit me up. If you don't know my AIM by now, you should be ashamed of yourself
  10. Damn you Statto...damn you! An "Ultimate Loser's Bracket" playoff is needed! SSiG v. Statto for the title of worst player ever!
  11. Lies! He was never beaten by 21 goals in a game! *reclaims his title*
  12. A challenger to my title? I am the site's worst player. If you lose to me, then you should be ashamed of yourself. My record says it all. 19-125-1 Beat that
  13. You will be soon enough. Either that, or your eyes are so much stronger than everyone else's
  14. DET 1 @ VAN 5 VAN 9 @ DET 1 This is the straw that breaks the camel's back. These two leave a really nasty taste in my mouth. Might want to have someone on call. End of post.
  15. Woooo...can't wait to get underway. I'll be available from tomorrow night on to play these games...and even though I'm not expecting to contend for a 2nd round spot, you better stay the heck away from Bob Probert...he will PWN you!
  16. Seconded. White ice blinds people. Gray ice though, works perfectly
  17. I'll resume my playings this week, just been in hiding for a few days after the gloriously random "SSiG witch hunt" fiasco in the first deadline thread. Take your best shot, boys. I'm just gonna sit back, relax, and play it cool *relaxes*
  18. Run it up then, I don't ask for mercy. It's your job to win by any means necessary. So what that I'm not as good as everyone in this league. Do you think I would have even come back if I wasn't going to commit to trying to win every single game? Obviously people love to misread my posts and spin them the wrong way. What I meant was that I'm happy that I've won more than one game this season. Obviously I didn't try to take a shot at anyone, but we all love jumping to conclusions around here, right? Think what you want, it really doesn't matter to me. If you wanna think that I'm gonna half-ass things the rest of the season, then I'm going to let my results and my play do the talking for me. I'm not this quitter and scumbag that you people constantly try to make me out to be. It must be a crime on this forum not to try and totally change the way I take wins and losses.
  19. ...and I'm supposed to take that as? In all seriousness, I'm just back in the league as a favor to AJ. I've already doubled my win output from last season, so the rest of the season is of little to no consequence to me. The expectations are rock bottom, so like I said when I was announced as Caps coach, getting the games in is not an issue.
  20. DET 6 @ EDM 3 EDM 2 @ DET 6 This should get the hounds calling for my head off my back for a bit. gg's
  21. You better be kidding, otherwise no free wins for you
  22. Played my first games tonight against Jamonica, and he'll upload'em as soon as I get set up on the site as the Caps coach.
  23. WASHINGTON, DC --- See how the skies around the Verizon Center are gray? It's because the heavens are about to openly weep. The master of the ice-based castration is back in business. Tom Delgado was named head coach of the Washington Capitals tonight, replacing thegr8199. Optimism that was in the air while thegr81 was around has turned into sheer depression. Already 10 Caps fans have been reported to have committed suicide. That number is bound to go up as the Capitals struggle through their season. "To say I'm happy to be here would be quite the blue-faced lie" Delgado told reporters outside of the Verizon Center. "I shouldn't be killing the previous coach for the players we have, but I watched one of their practices...and oy. Passes go through Brian Bradley's legs more often than a cheap Mexican whore, Bill Ranford's five-hole is bigger than my entire apartment, and Stephane Richer is so off the mark on his slappers that it would put Happy Gilmore to shame" Delgado added. "Teams will have ZERO excuses if they lose to us. I believe I'll have to make a call to my friends Brian McNamee, Roger Clemens, Barry Bonds, and Marion Jones...if you get my drift" Time will tell if the Capitals will register another win this season, but one thing's for sure. The rest of the season will be rather interesting in the nation's capital. Delgado Looks Refreshed After Time Off...Surely That'll Change Quick
  24. I warned you people. I really did. Play or risk your team being taken over, and subsequently ruined by THE SSiG. You have no excuses for not taking as many wins as humanely possible against me. Considering I expect to go 0 for my entire schedule, there will be no commitment problems this go-around.
