The only problem I would have in doing this is that the ID's in the old Blitz Database are different from the ID's in the new ones, so when I perform the queries to display the stats it will not match up correctly. If I can find an alternative then I will transfer it whenever I can

Hehe sorry for the "inconvenience" guys! Here is the deal... The website only has me registered on it, and it's not completely finished so I don't want others to see it yet. So far the basic things are completed such as Schedule, Standings, Coaches, Player Stats, Register, Login, Upload a Game when logged in etc.. I'm planning to add things like coach profiles and other touch-ups before I reveal the website. So by tomorrow morning we will have a list to see who has registered, what teams are available and who is on the waitlist. If you have any questions or website requests you can just post them here.

I have reason to care about you not playing because your reason is centered around ME. I have all the right to call you out because it wasn't long ago when you were excited to come play Blitz with your buddy Plabax so I don't appreciate the fact that you can just come out randomly and say you have "zero tolerance" for my antics.. You can at least come out and say "I am burned out from '94.. Maybe next year guys..". You destroyed all my old work on the Blitz '94 site but you don't see me quitting and crying that I'm tired of your "antics".. Instead I at least tried to rebuild everything from SCRATCH (except for some of the uploader). I'm not a little sissy 10-year old girl so I don't resort to the little sissy techniques like blocking, banning and running away from people.. I mean you can try and insult me for caring so much.. But when I quit classic you went on a rampage and said I am now banned for LIFE. There you go again.. You have no credibility you love to make things up. You CAN stack the pads on GENS.. In fact, you can do EVERY SINGLE of the "several" goalie moves that you can do on the SNES. Again, you are wrong, Nobody is waiting until the puck is in the net to take goalie control enough for it to be a problem. If this is a common issue for you then I can only imagine that your reaction timing is really really bad. Which is a problem with YOU, and not GENS.

Makes no sense.. A hockey gamer IS a video gamer. Even then it would not make anybody a better person. Who is flattering you so much to the point where you are calling them "uber" cool? Relax, that's a little over the top. Anyway, I wouldn't say Genesis version is like NFL Blitz.. That's more NHL Hitz in my opinion. At this point I am almost certain that trudatman has never played more than 5 games of the GENS version, he holds no credibility when he speaks about it and he makes a lot of things up. As for Bo saying the crease cut works 100% when executed properly, wouldn't it be the same for all the other scoring methods in the game For whatever game is a better "hockey" game, they each have their strengths. Shooting : The shooting system on the SNES is more realistic, but it's not better. It is more realistic because you have to aim your one-timers - they don't automatically go to the hardest spot for the goalie to get to like in GENS, which creates a problem. Problem is that the shots in SNES are so slow! You shoot like an old pussy in the SNES.. the puck floats like a hot air balloon. The ways to score are very limited and you'll find most of the top players going to a certain strategy to win, which will be in the next category. The shooting in GENS feels nicer because the shots are quick, but the one-timers are a serious pain to stop unlike SNES. Good thing they aren't as easy to pull off. No question, advantage GENS. Passing : Easy on the SNES. Tape-to-Tape cheese that players exploit to the fullest. It is way too difficult to win against, pass abusers, especially if your opponent is a defensive machine. GENS passing is not as "smooth", and it can get very frustrating. However, in general the passing works just fine and it goes for a more realistic, but worse passing system. The tape-to-tape is more ideal for a hockey video game, so advantage SNES. Skating Much smoother on the SNES. Feels better, +1. On GENS, it's more of an art. Great skating leads to cool dangles and sexy deke goals , +1. I like skating on both systems. advantage even. Defense This will be biased for me, I HATE body checking fests.. That's exactly what SNES is. Everyone can check everyone and it's a very stupid system. I say this because I come from GENS, which has a more structured system on who can check who. This leads to more strategy on how to play your defense. Playing defense is easier on SNES with the D control, but good defense has a much bigger impact than it does on GENS. I find the body check fest to be the worst thing about the game, I'd say it's the thing that keeps the SNES version from being as exciting, and thus as good. Advantage GENS. Goalies Besides the instant manual goalie on SNES, GENS has SNES by the throat in this category, bigtime. Advantage GENS. Community Advantage to whoever has Plabax

This discussion isn't going to go anywhere if trudatman keeps twisting and turning everything around. It is so clear to anyone that TK was saying the SNES version doesn't really have the "slap deke" because the affect the deke has on GENS is clear enough for it to be considered "unique". trudatman purposely misinterpreted TK's comment to set up the stage for SNES superiority, just look at all the exaggerations and things he pulls out of his ass to make the SNES look good. He listed three examples of "very high percentage" plays on GENS.. One of which I'm certain that NO player here has seen more than 10 times, and one that has random negative adjectives that falsely describe the slapshot system. To make things worse he backs it up by saying that the SNES is "statistically accurate", which is obviously NOT true.. It's just so ridiculous how he can write paragraphs and paragaphs about NHL '94 but none of the information is ever correct.

When I suggested a redraft for GDL X Freydey replied with: "f**k this we spent what a month doing the drafts and the trades?? no way we redraft without playing it" - This post along with his other one above is a clear example of night and day. His statement above is obviously not truthful and it's an attempt to hijack the thread with Blitz information. --------------------------------------- The clear reasons why games are unplayed are because : 1. Coaches are in more than one league and do not have the time / feel like playing all their games. 2. There is no real good incentive for games played.. We have a "deadline" system that never replaces anybody.. How many times have we seen coaches slack because they are not worried of being replaced? --------------------------------------- This "hard-working" commissioner crap is ridiculous. Listen to this guy, he thinks that running a league is worse than field slavery.. Weren't you the commissioner of GDL X, a league which ran smoothly? What effort was needed? I did all the work and it was definitely EFFORTLESS. Out of all the commissioner work that was done for the whole season it adds up to 30 minutes tops, then there is the ROM. Which is easily done in one afternoon. Pretty easy for 4 months if you ask me. I am having troubles finding where any of the posts have anything to do with people not being able to create leagues.. I don't think anyone ever said it, why would he mention it? Oops, forgot that it's kingraph talking. Once again the "NHL94 King" of manipulation is changing things around to his own benefit. Funny that the same guy who demands that I do the Blitz website for him is saying it's ridiculous we think we can "force" people... It's something called ORGANIZATION. Who can't prevent certain assholes? With kingraph it will always be either a block on AIM, a ban on the forums, an extension to a ban on the forums, a ban from leagues, a biased veto decision or a shady rule change to prevent something from happening.. Did you want your wife to have an abortion too? It is not appropriate that you of all people is saying that we can't prevent.. The one who hates on players who quit leagues and ruin the "fun" is the same guy who quit Dynasty playoffs and then complained about the GDL X playoff matchups. Not too far off from quitting your shitty classic league if you ask me.
