The road trip continues and the streak finally fell. Buffalo travelled to Detroit and pulled off a 3-2 come from behind victory and a 4-3 overtime victory in which they blew a lead with 20 second left in the third. Fuhr seemed to find some form in these games and you could see the workings of an offense starting again. Relieved that they finally got a victory and his job is no longer on the line, ThePimpImp and his team are a little more relaxed. The streaky nature of this team may take over soon.

Another road trip another 2 losses. Buffalo lost 6-3 and blew a 5-3 lead to lose 6-5 in Toronto. Fuhr was pulled for a goal in the first game, but then returned after hasek let in an easy goal. Fuhr's response to recent accusations of eating way too many f**king donuts was "Ya I am, if I eat enough I'll take up the whole net. No really all I need is the coach to take me under his wing more and I'll respond."
The coach is happy that the team will get another shot at all the teams they've faced one the road trip and most of the games will be at home, but isn't happy with the team's alckluster performance. Lafontaine and mogilny started to get back some of their old magic in the second of the second game, but it was no where to be found in the third.

The sabres continued their poor play with a road trip to montreal and 5-3 and 6-3 losses. Management is becoming increasingly aware of ThePimpImp's off ice distractions(damn you endless amount of group projects). Management demands that this streak does not reach 10 games or there will be major changes to the team.

When you put the investment of time to setup zbattle, it is way quicker than anything else to connect. Also if you are using it you ensure you are using a udp connection.
Those who are using gens platforms and whining, go play in the gens league...
oh wait, I knew there was some reason you were in this league
Halifax wanted everybody to use zbattle, so suck it up.

I actualyl didn't get any error messaged, I just connected and the program hung not doing anything, but still responding.

Yo didn't forfiet, you threw them, theres a big difference. Also, I kept asking you if you wanted to stop. Not my fault you must have been betting against yourself

also zbattle has been sketchy lately for jsut connecting. If your not getting any error messages when you connect do this.

After winning 13 consecutive games and then splitting with the chicago blackhawks, the sabres have gone on a 4 game slide. In the first two against LA they were simply outclassed in all facets of the game by the la coach fenty. In the second 2 games the sabres jsut did not show up. In the first vs dallas, the referees called a penalty any time a buffalo player would try to knock a dallas player off the puck. And despite a strong performance from mogilny, fuhr's terrible performance followed by terrible backups had the game never in doubt. The second game had lafontaine and mogilny skating like they ate 15 pizzas just before the game. With no speed, only svoboda had any real scoring threat and with his repeated running into fuhr as the perfect pick defense, it wasn't enough. Fuhr was again quite the dud, leaving coach ThePimpImp calling for his most hated of all goaltenders, Tom Barrasso to teach Fuhr a lesson in making a save on shots from the blue line.
Thats right, if Fuhr doesn't step it up, he will be benched in favor of hasek on a permanent basis

The only way zbattle doesn't work is if you are behind a router/firewall and you haven't declared yourself as dmz or opened ports. Go to zbattle web page and they will tell you what ports to open. Then go to portforwarding.net or something to learn how. It's not hard.
I have had issues lately but the fix that tickenest posted for me has made it fine again.

Lol i got the worst lag LOL. Oh well it was still good times. We should get some practice laggy games in next time so i can try and adjust.

I've had start problems(I'm color blind) when player are on the same team, but when playing against each other its irrelevant to me. I guess just habit for them maybe superstition. The best solution is for one to host all games and the other to not.
