  1. Anybody want to guess an over/under of pages for this thread?
  2. No problem, it will be worth the wait for Clockwise to get his site/ROM prepped and ready for action. SSig, if you've spoken to Evan about running a league, why don't you run a 2007 Summer NHL '94 Classic League?
  3. Well, San Jose is in '91-'92, but not on the ROM (I don't think?). San Jose isn't in the league '90-'91... There are ways around this. The Patrick Division is the only division with 6 teams, so you can eliminate one team from that division and have 4 divisions, each with 5 teams. That means each team would play an even schedule, two games against all others, for a total of 38 games. Or, because there are 21 teams, you can take the last Wales Conference team that is not chosen and eliminate them to get a square 20 teams. Then you have two equal conferences of 10 teams and can still do a 38-game schedule. Although, if the last Wales Conference team that isn't picked comes from the Adams Division, you would have one division of 4 and one division of 6. You could still have your 38-game schedule with that divisional setup. Or you could just scrap the divisions altogether and have two conferences of 10 teams. I know you mentioned having the top 8 teams make the playoffs in each conferece, but they used divisional playoffs in '91. Tell me what you think, SSiG.
  4. San Jose is in the league in '91-'92, are they on the ROM?
  5. Hahaha, shouldn't this go in the "You know How I Know You're Gay?" thread?

    Custom ROM

DMAC, if I remember correctly, there was someone else in some other editing threads trying to do the same thing. I can't remember which one it was, but I don't think they had figured out how to do it- I think they had even mentioned that it wasn't even possible? Sorry, don't mean to be a downer, just wanted to try and save you some time...
  7. I haven't talked to anybody that was watching the game and was unable to see overtime on Versus because their cable/dish provider didn't have Versus. Although, I live in the United States AND Florida, so I have about -11 hockey friends. I'm guessing it had to happen to some people, although you had no problems in Canada with CBC. And the Buffalo market kept the NBC feed through the horse race, so they didn't miss anything. Can you really blame NBC for switching over to The Preakness? That horse race is a top ten viewed event here in the States and outdraws the NHL on NBC audience by about 6 times. I personally want to watch the hockey, but if I am an NBC executive, I am switching the programming to the race for sure. Shame on the NHL for agreeing on a TV contract that lets the NHL have no bargaining power in when they want to air their games. This is how that conversationg goes: NBC: Hey Gary, we want to air your Buffalo-Ottawa game at 2:00ET on Saturday. The game better be over at 5:00ET because we have a horse race to air, so hope for no overtime. NHL: Well, that's not really what we want... *click* All these afternoon playoff games are getting a little outta hand. At least all the Stanley Cup Finals games are all 8:00pm ET starts.
  8. Maybe you can televise the games on NBC- it might draw better ratings and I'm pretty sure there isn't any horse racing this weekend, so the entire game CAN be shown if it goes to overtime.
  9. Because you like Coldplay. (40-Year Old Virgin reference for those who have NO IDEA what I'm talking about)
  10. Welcome aboard, I'm up for exhibitions if you're interested... AIM- hockeyman1983cgy
  11. Aren't you a Flyers fan- you could do a playoff tournament featuring the best 16 Flyers teams of all-time?
  12. Oh no problem at all, I was just making sure I understood correctly... When I was younger and I would do my own leagues with all stats and standings written by hand, I had to simulate all the other league games (CPU vs. CPU) that I wasn't involved in. It was almost fun just watching the game play itself. Now, at least I could have 6 GENS games open at one time! Your idea is awesome and it looks great so far. If you could get the webpages to look aesthetically like the layout/font/background of the corresponding game (i.e. different looks for '93, '94, '98, etc.), that would really make it look official IMO. But anyways, you are seriously kicking some butt, brilliant work!
  13. DaDonch, if you would be doing a season (and controlling just one or a few teams manually), you would have to play all the CPU vs. CPU games and upload the stats. Correct?
  14. Yeah, I was going to ask if the program would work with hacked ROMs?
