  1. @Asher413  very interesting stuff!

Yeah I have noticed that too on the slots.  I made a super team and simmed when @kingraph was working on the 95 project.  And the team did not fair any better.  And the guys that took over the spots in the line up that were previously held by top players had great stat lines for the season.

Good find too on the home/away stuff.  Are there bytes at all that give extra advantage for home and away like 94 in a reg game?  I don't think anywhere in the game or manual they talk about an advantage in 95.

I tried this evening modifying the schedule with the names and 1 changed division and it works. Played through 10 games and no issues. Also, moved all the teams (26) to their proper divisions and simmed the whole season without issues. Than simmed another season like you said with "end season after today" with some calendar changes and schedule changes and worked flawlessly.

I'll do some major testing this weekend to see the impact. @Asher413your a genius to find these aspects.

You guys are making me so joyful I may not be able to sleep

  3. Very Cool @UltraMagnus

Got a question now that you got the guts of the game opened up...can you mess with the schedule easily in season mode?

Would like to do a little in person tourney with my buds and would be cool if I could go in an alter what team plays what team on the cart so we could keep stats .

Thanks for all that you do.

I mean I guess that FMV-based games looked cool back in the early 90s because we hadn't seen anything like them before, but there's a reason that they never made a sequel to Sewer Shark or Night Trap.

How dare you besmirch Sewer Shark!

I bought far too many of those games as a kid.  The Black and White Boxing game, Ground Zero Texas.  Haven't played them in 20 years, I bet they don't hold up well :)

There's one thing that I've always wondered. Do you have to do something specific to make sure the game saves properly? It seemed like every physical copy I've ever tried wouldn't save but then I also had the same issue on an emulator (where it isn't as big a deal since there are also savestates).

With a physical copy there is a battery inside that is probably dead.  You can switch them out,  need a special screw driver bit and a new battery.  Here's a professional guy doing it below with a soldering iron and a special battery you buy.   I just bought the screw bit on EBAy, popped the battery out with a knife, got a new battery at walgreens and put back in with electrical tape.  That works if you are gentle with the cartridge,  but one hard drop may erase battery.

With emulators, I think you have to do save states, but I could be wrong.

    Keep 95 Alive!

    Oh I had no idea.

So when I'm, in theory, 63-0 that's when I should select, end season after today?

I absolutley would have ran into this and got jammed.

Yup or lose the next 19 games :)

Currently 25-0-0 in my season that I just started (checks notes) a week ago.

I probably need to pick a team worse than Detroit but I have to see this through.

LOL,  careful of the 128 pt bug.   Once you hit that pt total you move to bottom of standings and don't make playoffs.

Yeah once you get the hang of beating the computer, they are not much of an opponent.  When I play computer I put restrictions like no goalie/backup goalie, only down b pass shots to score etc.
