  2. im still waiting for the eye and stick patch for wboys 30 team NHLPA93... i tried it myself 2 or 3 time myself, i cant find them all, very frustrating =P
  3. wheres all the player sprites? got a png?
  4. probably on here somewhere, but this is a good read... not sure how true it actually is https://readonlymemory.vg/john-madden-hockey/
  5. go in your garage, find your old floppys and give the community the source code.... that it all
  6. and for you guys tournament / league guys, you can make the fights get broken up faster... keep the fighting and be less distracting
  7. i know that... im looking for in game changes, experimentation...
  8. i tried copying the hex code from 93 and put it in 94 to see what would happen, but i dont know how to correct the checksum
  9. its not in the PC versions (just by looking at the exe with a hex editor) the 2 PC versions are useless the only thing worth finding is the sprites
  10. i crossed out the same stuff hmmmmm
  11. sure is a lot of FFFF's in there...
  12. now that i played the PC ones again... im over it like the animations and on ice ref and whatnot though...
  13. nevermind... snooping around in the hex editor i see no fighting in "NHL Hockey" or "NHL Hockey 95" cool penaltys though, abuse of an official, checking from behind, ect...
  14. so the code is in NHL Hockey and NHL 95 for PC http://www.myabandonware.com/game/nhl-hockey-29y http://www.myabandonware.com/game/nhl-95-38f maybe its time we quit fu cking around with roms, and take a serious look at the PC version

    fix my socks!

    SLAPSHOT67 ??? please
  19. soo.... mr. documentary should be asking the programmers not how cool the game is, but how we can re-enable fighting, and then we just borrow the animations from 93... and put them somewhere else actually fu ck that, 95 for PC is a way better platform to create the ultimate hockey game... anything for computer can be reverse enginered =P
  20. 100% speculative, just by comparing the hexcode of all 3 (92, 93, 94)
  21. and ive said it 1000 times... the fighting code is still there, its disabled and the fighting animations spaces were used for the new checking animations
  22. sorry to break it to you, but hockey has had fighting since the beginning of time... (well until bettman ruined hockey anyway) 94 WITH fighting would have been the perfect video game...
