  1. He doesn't mean the same exact game, he means same game engine and gameplay, which it definitely is. Only the teams and players are different.
  2. @Jkline3 not sure, I think Lupz said he noticed something but really not sure exactly what he was seeing. Decided it'd be better to just do what the game makers did haha
  3. Good stuff bud! Just a head's up (and I am not sure if this is true) but someone told me way back that if you make the off and def awr different for a goalie (ie. 3 off and 5 def awr), they act a bit "wonky". I did not notice it myself, but in the original '94 ROM, they're all equal for goalies. So, without a proof, I started always making the off and def awr the same for Gs. Just wanted to let you know in case this is true.

  6. Sorted by Fwd/ Dmen / Goalies, by Overall (goalies + crap players not adjusted) et_tu_brute_draft_pool_excel_positions.xlsx
  7. That'd be really cool!
  8. Glad you like it my man! Slapshot67 and I love doing this ROM each season. I'll be sad to see the NHL'94 HOF team go when they add Seattle in a couple of years lol
  9. Keg stand wouldve been far better...my bad! VHL may happen, not sure when.
  10. hahaha thanks bud! I've been meaning to check out your ROM too. Good call on Matteau, that was classic.
  11. It's our pleasure! I tweeted it at him :-) When we released the IIHF ROM a few weeks back, he replied to my tweet when I said something like 'We got Kathryn Tappen into this one, Weekesy is next! Had to get my two favorite people in there'. He replied thanks for watching the network hahaha Still no reply about him being in this one, but that's ok. Truth be told, since this is the 25th anniversary of '94, I should've done Weekes next year and done the obvious choice for this season..................... JEREMY ROENICK! I obviously wasn't thinking clearly lol
  12. They're all there now. My bad, been a long, tiring week.
  13. If anyone finds errors with players, jersey numbers, etc, please let me know. I will release a V1 once there are roster moves or player boosts needed. Enjoy!
  14. Hey guys, here is the UPDATED PLAYOFF ROM for 2018-19 season. Special thanks to @slapshot67 for his work on graphics and player cards! Below you'll find the ROM and Excel sheet. Excel is in the zip folder, which shows player ratings, "Skip's ratings", etc. Changes from earlier 2019 ROMs: Player rating updates based on this year's performance, roster changes, some new player cards, playoff brackets to reflect actual 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs. I updated every teams lines, including PK lines based on top TOI on PK for each team, last time but didn't do much this time around. Injured players remain in lineup on their assumed line. Notes: -This is the 32-team ROM (updated teams, logos, player cards and graphics by Slapshot67). -Updated team rosters for 2018-19 season (rosters and player ratings by Skip). The 32nd team is still the NHL'94 Hall of Fame team, with original NHL94 ratings! -Weight bug is fixed (heavy guys are harder to knock down), and this ROM uses weight + checking = hitting ability -1 minute penalties (except for injuries = 2 min penalty). You can do 5, 7, 10 or 20 minute periods. -Hot/Cold is accurate in the pre-game screen and in edit lines NEW for 2019 ROM: Added in NHL Network's Kevin Weekes as the announcer. ROSTER NOTES: Some long-term injured players were also omitted (ie Stephen Johns, Christian Dvorak). 3rd line is usually a mashup of best players on a team's real 3rd & 4th lines. Tried to keep scoring lines as they are in real life, or how they "should be" when players return from injury. KNOWN BUG: The menu screen will freeze if the player cards begin to cycle for team #31 - Winnipeg. There is no known fix for this. TOURNEY ROM has continuous OT. The regular ROM has 5 minute OT. Zip folder has excel sheet with all players listed, including the NHL94 HHOF All-Stars roster, and Ratings list for all 32 teams. -Skip NHL19playoffs.zip NHL19PlayoffsTourney.bin NHL19PlayoffsSkip.bin
  15. So you're telling me the Bruins will travel to face the Whalers on the day my kid is due to be born? I don't believe in coincidences, so I am gonna go ahead and embrace the s**t outta this!
  16. Hey guys, Some of you may have seen the IIHF Rom that me, @KTup710 and @slapshot67 worked on called IIHF Legacy '19. It is a ROM that mixes some current national teams with some teams of past, like the Miracle on Ice teams, 2002 Canada and USA, etc. We also included 6 NHL94 National Teams with the original ratings. I'd really like to do a mini-season and tourney with this ROM. I think we can figure out the logistics once I know if anyone is into it. Figured a very short ~20 game season, with a regular playoffs to follow. If we have 6 guys, we can use the NHL94 teams with no WBF. If we have more, maybe we do a tourney with current teams or just open every team up for the draft. Anybody want in? I have no idea when we'd start, but probably can get it going right before classic begins. Anyone who isn't a slacker is invited. Thanks, and the link to ROM and excel sheet with all teams and players listed here -->
  17. yeah those season modes were big when I was 14 years old.

    IIHF Legacy 2019

I'm glad you guys like the game! It was a lot of fun to make, and Ktup with those banners, I was shocked as well. They look gorgeous in the playoff tree. I like the way you're thinking with the all-time teams! Could be another fun way to go with it. It'd be tough to select a Team Canada haha. I wanted to add a bunch of milestone type teams. Miracle on Ice was no brainer, and the 1987 + 1991 Canada Cups, then I started thinking about what else to add. First WCoH made sense. It was such a fun tourney. Had to include the 1998 Czech team, too bad I couldn't 1998 Russia in there, too. And had to have USA vs Canada from SLC Olympics, epic final - heartbreaking for me :-( Enjoy, bud!

Looks like this will be the last hurrah for Zetterberg, too. Team Sweden losing a bunch of star players. :-( If anyone finds any errors, please let me know!
