  1. BUF 6, VAN 3 VAN 4, BUF 2 ggs VocallyCaged
  2. Vancouver 6, Buffalo 2* 3 of my goals were scored when Flaming's keyboard ran out of juice but he said it didn't matter if I kept those goals. The final score would have been 3-2 for me. anyways gg FlamingPavelBure
  3. He probably would have played for the Canucks all year next season, but I see what you are saying. It's just so weird to think that at that last Canucks game I was at, where everyone was saluting Trevor Linden because it was his last game, nobody would have even thought that that game would also be Bourdon's last game.
  4. Just give me Bure and the goalie save % will be down again
  5. The 21 year old Luc Bourdan was killed in a motorcycle accident today in New Brunswick. http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=239196&lid...s=topStory_main R.I.P Luc Bourdon.
  6. I'm in. I think you know which team I want (Vancouver)
  7. I am available right now and probably most of the day tomorrow (Sunday) so I will look for you on AIM. I'm lookin forward to stopping the Bure attack
  8. If the Pens lose I will prove Wags that the "dmac Charm" never existed
  9. I have a secret that hopefully not a lot of you knew about When I take a faceoff in the attacking zone (going up), you will see the guy walking down the stairs. At the precise moment he sits down, the ref drops the puck. If you notice, right when the guy appears, I'll stop pressing the B button and I'll wait for the guy, then I press B right when he sits down. It works for me 90% of the time. But other than that I think it is random. Also, sometimes it seems as if the puck is dropped earlier than other puckdrops in the game.. For example, at the beginning of the game it'll take like 5 seconds to drop the puck while other times it seems like it's only been 3 seconds.
  10. One of them has bound to be hokkee
  11. Detroit in 7. They are too much for the somewhat inexperienced Penguins roster. Should be an unbelievable Stanley Cup Finals either way though.
  12. Garry Valk (3rd) was on the Vancouver Canucks in NHL '94.
  13. Yes well my so called "good luck charm" of predicting against the Pens is continuing, so in the Cup Finals, Detroit vs Pittsburgh, I might go with the Pens just to see them lose . Seriously though, I would take the Detroit Red Wings in 7 in the Stanley Cup Final. The Red Wings are a more experienced team and their goalie (Chris Osgood) has been terrific so far in the playoffs. What a great final it will be though.. Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Holmstrom, Franzen, against Crosby, Malkin, Hossa, Staal.
  14. I try to hit as much as I can and I don't think I come anywhere close to this..
  15. CHI 3, VAN 8 VAN 5, CHI 4 ggs Carse
  16. You did deserve winning that game. I got lazy on defense and offense as well and you took great advantage of it and made the incredible comeback. ggs
  17. VAN 8, TOR 5 TOR 4, VAN 6 ggs sebe
  18. And just a side note, look at Crosby's playoff sanchez compared to Ovechkin's one week full grown beard
  19. I'd pick Alex Ovechkin in a heartbeat. He is the whole package; speed, skill, aggresiveness, size, etc. Malkin comes close because he also has a lot of skills that are similar to Ovechkin. Crosby, well, I don't really like him at all, mostly because in my opinion he is a pussy and he whines to the refs whenever something doesn't go his way. Ovechkin on the other hand would take it like a man and get the other guy back in a clean, yet powerful way. Somebody is eventually bound to break the "European Captaincy Drought" and I think it will be A.O. if he is ever named captain.
  20. Round 3 Pittsburgh (2) - Philadelphia (6) YET AGAIN I go against the pens.. Philly in 7 Detroit (1) - Dallas (5) Detroit in 6
  21. I've still been pretty busy but managed to get some games in from different leagues. I will continue to try to be online as much as possible so I can get caught up.
  22. PHI 2, VAN 8 VAN 9, PHI 3 ggs smoz
  23. STL 1, VAN 2 VAN 3, STL 5 ggs gr81
  24. Hi sungod! Yeah I apologize for not being around lately I have been really busy with school work. And sure, you can put me back on the waiting list
  25. Once again Dominik Hasek saved the day. This time, against the Colorado Avalanche. After replacing Mike Richter as usual, Hasek came in and robbed takeyourpill and the Colorado Avalanche several times, including a huge save with 3 seconds to go, to give the Canucks the close 4-3 win at home. When asked how Hasek plays so good, he called himself "Superman." He then exclaimed that the "real Superman" was actually Czech, which was Hasek's grandfather. Proof of this occured as at the end of the game he struck his own Superman pose. In only 3 games, Dominik Hasek leads the GDL with a stellar 90.9% save percentage and 1 GA. Vancouver has pulled Richter in all 3 of their games resulting in Hasek taking charge and giving Vancouver a chance to win. Vancouver coach dmac says Hasek will most likely start from now on.
