  1. Looking for it as we speak. Thinking it's on a random flash drive. I've moved since finishing it, so it's not so easy to locate. Hope I still have it!

Hey guys, after over two years, here's the final product, that was actually completed on February 9, 2014. Never got around to posting it and forgot it existed until GrannyLand brought this thread back to life! Enjoy!

    attachicon.gifNCAA West 2014.bin

    Haha, woo

  2. The reason it was lagging might have been because both you and your friend most likely were using wireless connection and to reduce lag, you might want to get a wire thing for internet lol its like some really long blue cord but ya get it it helps :P

  3. Can you find any scoring consistency in this game? I'm not exactly an nhl game noob, but other than onetimers and weird angle slapshots goals seem to be very random.

even onetimers aren't consistent and they're not very fun jammy goals. the skating is unique and passing is ok, but I hate games where scoring is either random or very few boring goal styles.

maybe I'm just bad though, I haven't played it a ton

Usually goals are from luck or you feed a pass to the middle and completely deke the tendy. The passing is difficult to get because unlike other games, there is no pass assist that makes beatiful passes on the tape every single time. Basically you have to aim the sh*t out of your passes or the puck goes all over. lol

  4. Does anyone else play NHL '04 on their PC with this website? It's actually really fun and has a great online community. If you are interested check out the website here. There is so many different versions and different interface mods like the nhl.com mod or nbc mod or espn mod. Updated almost every other month too! (New rosters, arenas, jerseys, etc.) You can also get mods for different leagues like AHL or CHL. I think there was a College Hockey mod too but haven't tried it yet so idk.

You can get regular non modded NHL 2004 PC

(Yeah it's Russian but just follow the on screen every move from the video) And when it asks you where you want to download it pick something simple like in the video. This makes it easier to find and allows for quicker modding.

Enjoy ;). And you should join their league, NEHL. It's the main league and it has a few spots still open.

  5. Well I guess we tried huh? Some people said that Sonic Megamix works like that but is the only game to do so.

As for the iso, I'm not sure of a way to post it easily because the forums doesn't support uploads of .iso files.

  6. Thanks for trying. Sorry for asking the obvious, but did you try opening the.iso in Fusion after you go to File->load SegaCD image?

I didn't know that I was supposed to do that, (My inner noob shines again), but after trying that it has this SegaCD startup screen and then this menu where my only option is to select eject.

  7. Well if you can, then PLEASE do it. I would love to test it and see if I can modify the songs using the .iso editing techniques.

I tried to do it but after the conversion I mounted it virtually with Daemon Tools and attempted to open the files but could not. Not sure how else I can do it but if it helps, the error was because it wasn't formatted correctly for windows. (Or at least that's what it claims and I have no idea how to fix that.)

  8. Forgive me if this a stupid question, but can you port this fantastic ROM over to the SegaCD.iso version?

The reason is, we could vastly improve the sound and music, to an otherwise visually magnificient rom.

I can make the .bin file into an .iso file if that's what you are asking..?

Excuse my bump into the conversation, though. Just trying to be helpful.

  9. 99% credit to Skip for the great work on the original ROM.

1% credit to me for making it 2 on 2.

There is probably some screw ups here and there but it's my first time using NOSE.

Let me know what I did wrong and I'll (try to) fix it . :dal_skater_hand_grab:

    NHL-94-15(2on2).bin

(Note: This is made from nhlpa93easn's graphic update on the ROM.)

(Also credit to smozoma for telling me how to '2on2ify' it.)

  10. I joined a couple weeks ago and spent some time trying to gain back skill lost over the years.

I think I'm ready to play online the cpu is boring and easy.

My AIM is my email: mwester00@gmail.com

I think I've everything ready. (netplay with gens, himachi)

So someone please play a game or two with me?

I think I can rummage to find an internet cable because my wifi might not be the best.

    Thanks in advance. :)
