    So...do you want me to stop development on this site? As of this weekend we should have a working site up, in the fashion that Smoz's site works.

    Its no problem to make this site, I've already done a bit of work on it. Just let me know...

    I'm really committed to this, and it sounds like you guys are too.

    I reallllly want to have a game/goal/player of the day/week/season. We should record every game in my opinion, anything special just submit to me or whoever and I can put it on the site.

    In a day or two, I'll show you guys what i've come up with for a layout. This weekend I'll be spending a ton of time on the look of the site and getting the DB up and going.

    This league is going to be needing a website, I think. I know Logan is out of town, and I don't know what his plans are for a site.

    But, I am going to begin work on a website for us. Jesus is going to give me some pointers on how he got Smoz's db to work with the 2on2.org site. Other than that, it's all us.

    I am doing this mostly out of my love for 94 and this league, partly to gain a better understanding of ADO and ASP.NET and all that. ALL opinions about how the site should look, logo, layout....etc....please tell me. It'll be much easier on me that way, plus it'll be kinda cool in that everyone has a say in how the site should look.

    I am pretty handy with Adobe products, I intend on creating something very professional and clean looking. Again, all input regarding anything site-related is very, very welcome. Thanks guys.

    I voted that it went well considering.

    There were so many things people COULD have taken advantage of. I mean, there could have been 'bidding teams' where cliques of renegade players ruin the market and other shenanigans like that.

    Thankfully, there was only a bit of overbidding and now just some confusion about 'end of bidding free agents'. I think that any player whose auction did not end successfully should be put into next seasons' player pool.

    But anyways...ya...it DID go well, considering.

    The system is inherently flawed. We just all have to get through this. From what I can tell, most of the teams are nearing completion. For the GMs that still have a ways to go, don't worry, you are going to be making some good deals off of cancelled bids.

    For instance, I had to cancel my Lindros bid at 6m. I will miss the huge power from his shot, and I know that some coach might be able to pick him up for maybe 1.5 or 2 million, but that's how it goes.

    But ya...we're going to see some steals on released players I bet.
