i just got this online thing working and i can never find anybody playing this game, and i can't make a room cause it says i have illegal characters in rom name, wtf does this mean?? i need help

im new and i try to download all this stuff but it doesnt work for me, is there a link for help or can someone walk me through it, i really want to play.
