Thanks Slapshot, I couldn't have done it without your help! I was debating if I should update the Islanders logos (I loved the fisherman) but decided to change it in the end. I know the logos aren't great but they'll do for now. Down the road I would like to update the ratings in the team select screen but I'll have to find the address in a hex editor. Thanks again!

I have completed my NHL 97 update! I relocated Hartford, updated rosters, uniforms, center ice logos and team select logos for all teams but the best part...SEASON MODE with no Two line pass! If you are interested, pm me. Thank you to Slapshot67 for his patience and tutelage!

I should probably clarify my question... I am trying to change the colors for the new Hurricanes from the old Whalers using Tile Molester. I have tried importing the home strip ice offset from nose and the colors in the palette changed but when I re-open the file they stay the same. I have also tried to double click the color in the palate with the same results. Out of curiosity, I noticed the same problem with 94 and 95 where I edit the logos and the colors stay the same. Hopefully someone with more Tile Molester experience than me can help.

I am working on a 97 hack and during the relocation of the Whalers to Carolina, I hit a road block. I changed the name and uniform colors from the Hartford Whalers to the Carolina Hurricanes in NOSE and with Tile Molester but the colors remain the same in the team select menu. Does anyone have any idea on how to edit these colors? Thanks!

I have the rosters completed with ice logos and uniforms updated. I haven't even started updating the logos in the team select screen but the game is still playable and fun as hell. I did all of the logos freehand using Tile Molester simply because I haven't been able to cut and paste logos from the updated 94 games that Slapshot67 has completed but they look OK. If you want what I have so far, pm me your e-mail address and I'll send it to you. Side note: Thank you to Slapshot67 for all of his patience and tutiledge with NOSE and Tile Molester.

I have been working on a 98 and I noticed a problem with the rom when playing a game. What's happening is, the player numbers are correct in NOSE but change when the game is played. I don't have duplicate numbers on the team or any other glaring reason why this is happening. I have attached a screen shot of the players in NOSE and the team roster screen while playing the rom. Anyone with suggestions or possible reasons for this problem would immediately become my new best friend. Thanks

Which RBI game do you prefer, I believe there was like ten of 'em. Personally, I liked the Sports Talk Baseball game the best minus the talk, that was God-awful!

A slider allows you to adjust features in the game for both you and your opponent (something I wish EA would have added to the NHL series).

NFL 98 by Sega Sports is right up there. To my knowledge, it is the first game for any system to include sliders, making for competitive games against artificial competition.
