  1. Summer Salary Cap League Thanks to initial input from Raph, AJ, Tex, Ice, Schmidt, Lupz, and Chaos, I’ve decided to pilot a salary cap league. There is no draft, there are no trades, and once a roster has been submitted, no add/drops. On their own, each coach will select 5 F, 4 D and 1 G while staying under a budget of $685. This league will inevitably have duplicate players. Additionally, the difference between your highest and lowest priced players must be no greater than $35; done intentionally to mitigate extreme roster front loading. It’s mathematically possible to roster a
  2. Online Handicapped Playoff League tl;dr - do you want to join a 16 team playoff bracket where you have max 7 days to complete each series using Genesis over RetroArch only that starts Wednesday April 1? If YES, reply here to indicate interest or DM me on Discord (danTML7#0996), and I’ll update the list of players as we go. If you want to know the details, read on past this point. There’s been some clamor going on lately about people wanting to do an online tournament because we are all stuck at home, quarantined, and we can’t do in-person events. Leagues also can be troublesome to co
  3. I feel like I'm losing my mind. I was playing a few shootouts with someone on the Genesis when he started hitting random buttons on the way back to the main menu. Then the strangest thing happened. The menu music I've heard thousands of times turned into a lullaby version of the song. I searched all over for anything as to why this happened and I can't find a single mention of it. It doesn't show up in YouTube "full soundtrack" clips. Nothing. Please tell me someone else has experienced this and knows how to recreate it. I didn't bother recording it because in my mind, there was no chance

  5. The WI tournament featuring the greatest hockey game of all time, NHL94 is back! Pucks Out 4 Harambe is our 2nd NHL94 tournament, and plans to be even bigger and better than our first effort! Our goal for turnout would be a 50% increase over last tournament, which was 16. We are hoping for at least 24-32 for this event, and have enough systems to support as many as 64 players! Cash prizes await the top 3 finishers, and the opportunity to hoist Lord Manly's Cup! Townline Pub and Grill, 2455 Lineville Road, Green Bay, WI, Saturday M
  6. Hi everybody, I am currently hacking NBA Action '95 and I am trying to figure out a way to add the 3 expansion teams (Grizzlies, Pelicans, Raptors) to the ROM. The ROM has about 13 bonus teams (Hall of Fame Heroes, Hall of Fame Legends, etc...) in the game so I figured I would just be able to hex edit three of those team names, add the logo, and palette swap the jerseys to match the team I am importing; however, I have run into a big issue. These bonus teams all share the same palette with the Washington Bullets. I suppose my question is this, is there any possible way to add a new
  7. Not sure who's noticed this as well but on the NHL94.com homepage but the site features "Genesis, Sega CD & SNES". However, I searched the forums and there are no threads about the Sega CD version of 94! I don't want to start anything but it's funny how Sega CD is listed before SNES. Just sayin' ;-) So this is going to be the thread to discuss all things Sega CD (which considering the popularity of this system will most likely be the shortest discussion this site has seen) About a month ago, I purchased a Sega CD recently and then bought a couple copies of '94. I fired it up on Su
