Without wasting anytime, the scores:

Game 1 @ WPG: HFD 5 WPG 3

Game 2 @ WPG: WPG 4 HFD 2

Game 3 @ HFD: HFD 4 WPG 3

Game 4 @ HFD: HFD 6 WPG 5 OT

Game 5 @ WPG: WPG 6 HFD 4

Game 6 @ HFD: HFD 5 WPG 4

I can't say enough about the quality of player this guy is, nevermind the sportsmanship he's got in letting me sneak back into the playoffs after vanishing for a few weeks. He has a special way of putting your team through Selanne hell, by making that asfkljadsfklsj #13 fly across the rink to crumple your team on defense and then make a fool of you on a breakaway deke. Just a real pleasure to play against and the competition was tense (he was absolutely robbed by the randomness of a post shot on a final deke with seconds left).

GGs man.

This is definitely a heart breaker.

And the most stressful Series I have EVER played.

Seriously Im debating early SNES retirement after this one...

With the way things have been going I figured this was my last chance at a SNES title and I thought for sure I had it.

But then one day I wake up to find out I'm playing hartford..

Reality set in.

It for sure as hell wont be easy.

And it wasnt.

Granted, neither team managed to pull away in any game. They were all so close.

I definitely feel robbed by Steens failure and wtf hit the posts.

Especially in the dieing seconds of game 6 with the goalie pulled... Won the face off, went steaming in straigt to the net...deked the goalie...and hit the post.

Sigh.

Congrats to Schwartz. He played well.

The biggest disappointment is not losing, but not having the chance at a SNES title again.

The way the interest has been around here. This might be the last SNES Classic :P

FPB you have your work cut out for you.

Looks like a great series and cheers for the sportsmanship surrounding this series on both sides. Apologies to shaft for the quick way this was thrown together. And don't give up man, without you there is no SNES.

Good luck to schwartz in the final.

Deleting my previous comment, makes me believe even more that someone was heavily favored to win, but justice prevailed through karma. Keep trying to cover iyt up, Nixon.

Before complaining, you should play the Finals of the fall season that you let die away.
