smozoma Posted June 28, 2010 Report Share Posted June 28, 2010 Gaa! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaelic_football The rules are roughly: 1 point for kicking or punching (not throwing) the ball over the goal net, between the uprights 3 points for kicking the ball into the net past the goalie (and you can punch it in on a one-timer pass or bounce) you can carry the ball for only 3 steps, but you can reset the count by bouncing the ball off the ground or your foot back into your hands you can bodycheck with your shoulder, but no soccer-style sliding tackles.
