halifax
I have been playing that WHA 94 snes rom non stop...its so amazing..the speed is perfect!! the creator of this rom clearly has a strong appreciation for history and nostalgia. Thanks...it's nice to be recognized for hard work. There's more I'd like to do to the rom to make it more accurate. I did spend countless hours of research on numerous websites and I watched that doc too. I believe I read about another doc coming out about the WHA as well(probably just for sale on dvd). There's some cool vids on you tube about the WHA...one vid shows Gerry cheevers smoking during the intermission...priceless..lol.

halifax
Talk about eerie. I just posted the link to the Gerry cheevers video yesterday in this thread....and then this is what I read on sportsnet.ca. http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/2010/09/19/spector_sept9/ To honour this, the 30th anniversary of the final four World Hockey Association teams being swallowed by the National Hockey League, do yourself a favour: Go to Youtube, and search "Gerry Cheevers." There’s an old newsreel on there from his days with the Cleveland Crusaders, complete with dressing room footage. Compared to what we see today, it’s like hockey from another planet. I think he read this thread and wants to play in the SNWHA and probably wants to be like me.
