STAT RECORDING

Recommended Posts

Just to make everyone aware, RWD informed us about this last week.

Obviously lots of guys were a little unenthusiastic at the start of the season about recording stats manually at the end of the games.

If you go to the scoring summary at the end of your game & press SHIFT + BACKSPACE GENS will take a screenshot of your stats & save it as a bitmap image in the GENS file on your computer. You can then just post the image on the forum & all the stats are there for ProBob to collect!

Much simpler & less time consuming for everyone.

Just remember, if there is more than 1 page on the scoring stats you need to scroll down and take another screenshot. It will only take what's on the screen at that time.

Hope this helps everyone.

for the sake of evan's bandwidth, please open the BMP file and re-save it as PNG before posting it, so the file size is much smaller. plus PNG is just cooler. ping!!

oh, and if you post a BMP, you don't get an image preview. PNG, you'll get a preview.

Just had another thought.. though BMP files may be bigger than PNG, the fact that BMPs don't show previews probably actually save bandwidth for the site, since few people will bother to manually download the BMP :P
