At times it's been difficult with drop outs and different levels of commitment, but we ended up playing 193 of 198 games. A 97.47% completed season! Thanks to you all for making it happen..............I seem to remember someone suggested the league wasn't running that well?!!! Below are the playoff seedings for both the "A" and the "B" playoffs. As it looks like AJ has dropped (Hasn't replied to my messages) we're putting Dallas and Montreal out of the "B" playoffs and bumping up Anaheim & San Jose, so there's no "Toilet Bowl" series i'm afraid. Was looking forward to it too!! The checkpoint for the quarter-final games is next Monday July 11th. Please make sure you've played your series by then. Obviously the higher seed in the match up has home advantage, and plays their first 2 games at home. ProBob - What's the chance of us having regular season player stats this week?! I know a number of the guys are keen to see where their players come in. I'm pretty certain Corey Perry of Anaheim is in 1st place, but i'd like to see by how far! I've also taken the liberty of posting some regular season awards here too. If you'd like to make a nomination for an award you can post it in this thread. First and foremost, we've got to thank Clockwise for putting this incredible ROM together. Absolutely amazing. We took the steps to get a league running, but he did the hard work didn't he?! The love & care put into that work from the graphics, player stats, logos...........just the pure attention to detail is amazing. Thankyou Clockwise. You are a legend! Also, big big thanks to Smozoma who tweaked things to give us a rom with a 5 minute OT clock, and also adjusted the checking on the game to take away some of the defensive advantage. I'm sure you'll agree his changes were definitely for the better, and made it a better league season as a result. Seriously, how much knowledge of not only the game, but how the hacking works do you have to have to play the game and recognise that's what's needed to improve it? It was just ironic that Smozoma was the only one that couldn't get the ROM working & so couldn't compete in the league himself. Again, thank you Smozoma. You too are a legend here! These are the guys that really do the special stuff. Without them having the motivation to create these amazing hacks the rest of us wouldn't be able to enjoy these wonderful leagues. With that in mind I find it quite sad that a number of people, in this league, and in Classic & other leagues seem to treat this community like it's here to serve them. Thanks to the guys that have finished the regular season and given this ROM the commitment & respect it, and the work put in to create it deserves. Now lets have a great playoffs and see who's going to win this thing!!.........................Oh, and Clockwise.........2012 ROM PLEASE!!!!! The 1 & 2 seeds meet in the GENS 2011 "B" Final after great seasons. I believe this is a repeat of the Classic "B" final too? That adds a little extra spice then! Pearate has home ice advantage, which has proven to be a deciding factor throughout these "B" playoffs (Not bitter! lol) Good luck to both you guys, and once again congratulations on a great season! Carse beat No.1 seed Washington Capitals (Vocally Caged) in 5 in their semi-final, whilst BoKnows upset the form book as his LA side cameback from 3-1 down in their semi-final to overcome No. 2 seed Dcicon's Boston in an amazing 7 game series! (Some would say it was the shot in the arm the "A" playoffs was needing! lol ;-) ) LA have home advantage for the finals, as the higher seed. Good luck to you both in the final, and please record the games for us for everyone to enjoy.
