eggink444 Posted November 2, 2011 Report Share Posted November 2, 2011 Kupuck (DET) uses his good eye to take out the reeling Eggink (CGY) in 5 games. The first three games were all decided by one goal, with DET taking the first two at home. CGY bounced back for a win in game 3, helped out by constant DET penalties. G4 would turn out to be pivotal. DET up 4-0, CGY makes an amazing run to make it 4-3. DET called a timeout and brought in inspirational speaker Matt Foley to fire up the troops. They quickly turn the tide and take the game 6-4. G5 is a romp as DET dominates from start to finish. Matt Foley has since returned to his 'van down by the river', but sources say he is on call if needed in the next series.
