But maybe they could miss the playoffs in the next few years. I'd guess this is the last of Lidstrom. Not going to replace him. Holmstrom may hang up the skates as well. Amazingly, despite having no top draft picks, they've got good, young talent. Emmerton amd Nyquist are two that come to the top of my head as guys who I think will thrive once given a bigger role. But yes, after this offseason, that '02 powerhouse will likely have no remaining players.
