kupuck19
The Story and Video I think it's a damn shame a kid has to be put through criminal charges for playing physical, and absurd his parents would file charges after their son agreed to take the risks of playing a contact sport. kingraph
Absurd is right.
IceStorm70
criminal charges is bs, but still these kids have to be taught how to hit, not go low and explode up at the head. That is what you call a predatory hit, he had him lined up for a bit with his sole intention of blowing the kid up, not separating him from the puck. trudatman
totally agree about the difference between blowing him up and separating him from the puck. it was a vicious hit, but it was just a check, not a spear nor a punch nor a kick with the blade. this kid's family should be embarrassed that they involved legal council and then decide to sue. it isn't like the hitter stabbed him in the neck, he just hit him, albeit with a borderline (at best) check. The Russian Rocket
Yeah it's ridiculous. Then again coaching in NA is wildly unsupervised. Nobody knows how to check. Minor league double letters are riddled with boarding suspensions.
