October 5, 201213 yr comment_121301 The finals are set for Survivor Season 02! In a whirlwind of activity these last two days, Freydey took the opening series from da94wookiee in 6 games (game summaries here) to advance to the semi-finals vs Kupuck. The series was tied 2-2, and then Frey managed to hold wookie to just 3 goals in the last two games (he averaged 4.83 GF in the regular season). Great season by wookiee, a tough draw to face Freydey in the first round, who also beat wookie in season 01 on his way to the championship. Shortly following that performance, Freydey edged out Kupuck in a 7 game series to advance to the finals for a second straight year! It looked like an exciting series as Kupuck went up 3 games to 1 after 4 (see link to summaries above). However, Freydey roared back to win the next three. Frey chose the NYI for game 7, and Kupuck tried to knock him out with PIT, believed to be one of the best teams, if not THE best, in weight-bug fixed GENS/SNES, but Frey held them off to win the series. Great series, great season Ku! So the final will be Freydey vs kingraph (who also had an extremely close 7 game semi-final vs Plabax!). Freydey knocked out kingraph in 5 games in Season 01, but thay have not squared off in weight bug fixed classic as they missed their regular season matchup. Let's make it a good one! Report
