The problem with replacing you is it would create a huge unbalance in the league conferences as you're one of the favorites. That would suck. As comparison, we have more games played in GDL X after 4 weeks (32 avg) than we did in GDL09 (28 avg). http://forum.nhl94.com/index.php?/topic/14670-gdl-9-games-played/?p=121575 Considering that season 09 was the return of GDL after 3 years and played during winter, there should've been much more momentum. But there wasn't, so I'm not buying this summer thing. But weekly checkpoints aren't the issue either, it's communication. We know people go on vacation in summer -- kg was gone for a month, we all knew that because he informed us, he came back and has more games played in 2 days than Carse played in 5 weeks. Same story for Houly. Again, the checkpoints should serve as an indicator of where you should be and establishes some guideline for the regular season. While we set a flat 7 game weekly checkpoint, all leagues have a huge amount of games played early, then it flatlines, followed by a pick up the final two weeks.
