Bo Knows NHL94
with all the new features they put in you couldn't save?? i remember how this was so annoying to me. the legend of zelda, which was released in 1985, had the ability to save. yet this game, released in 1994, did not. what's up with that? CamKneely
In an ironic twist the programmers were trying to save you from playing one of the worst games ever.

smozoma
I'm pretty sure it was supposed to save, but it was possible the save chip was damaged somehow. I borrowed someone's NHL 95 and eventually it stopped saving. Not sure if it was Genesis or SNES..
trudatman
hmm. battery life? interesting. I haven't tried a season in '95 in many years, so I wonder if mine still works. most of my battery-backed games (90+%) still work, at least most of the time. one of my Sim City (SNES) cartridges gave me trouble for a while years ago and has worked fine ever since. if it is a battery-backed game you prefer, buy a bunch of copies; they should be cheap. kingraph
Man, I can recall that horrible feeling of firing up the Genesis, flipping through the "exhibition, playoffs, new season" options... hmmm, where is "continue season". F...M...L. Even worse was Baseball Stars on NES, as that investment of time was much more extensive.
trudatman
oh, so it doesn't even have a battery? weird. are there trades and create-a-player options? I guess I don't remember this game's options as well as I remember its gameplay.
