Lupz27 Posted February 5, 2015 Report Posted February 5, 2015 You got it. I am not going to make a bunch of different roms that are constantly getting updated to like version 47. I posted a preseason rom above and that will serve as the only official pre-season rom posted until the season. It has the Penguins with Line 2 and my one roster move with the Oilers. I will also probably move Fuhr to my starting goalie, but that is not in the preseason rom. Brutus and I exied last night with a rom we made for him to try out some of his edits. Everyone can do their own in NOSE to test different players. I will then post a Regular Season rom, once we get finalized. Who is the starting 5 and goalie for Boston? Is there a substitution I should consider that I am not aware off? Quote
CoachMac Posted February 5, 2015 Author Report Posted February 5, 2015 You have a solid line up probably the most talent of anyone with the Penguins down to Line 2. Bourque the Beast and Wesley on D Janney at C Neely another Beast on RW Dave Christian on LW Christian is the weak link, but the edit you should make IMO is moving Neely to LW. If you stick with them and earn edits for later seasons. Bobby Carpenter is strong on your Bench and so is Bob Sweeney. Lupz27 Posted February 5, 2015 Report Posted February 5, 2015 What about bringing in Ken Hodge for Christianson? Never mind I'm always in the box I'll do the Neely to LW switch. All those fights I instigate catch up to me lol. Quote
CoachMac Posted February 5, 2015 Author Report Posted February 5, 2015 (edited) You only get one move. I would want Neely at LW so he is not off the ice when you are short handed. Hodge #10 is a Center and so is Sweeney #20 so you can't make that move. and so is #19 Dave Poulin. You got a great (the Best) team. If you sub out Christian #27, Bob Carpenter #11 is your best wing on the bench. If you want more D (weight) you could sub Hodge or Sweeney for Janney, But Janney is talented It is '92. Don't over think it just Mash C. Edited February 5, 2015 by CoachMac Quote

deadmeow Posted February 5, 2015 Report Posted February 5, 2015 A power team fell into farm league. Chicago could win the farm league, but not if they cross the path of my pick , Toronto! Quote
CoachMac Posted February 5, 2015 Author Report Posted February 5, 2015 (edited) Updates are in Post #33. Need to get Farm Draft and Roster moves done today so I can finish the rom. Once I finalize it you have your team for the season. No further moves. (Except of course you can change your goalie in game) Future seasons you will be able to continue to improve your team with roster moves by completing 100% of your games. If you win the Cup, then the you will get knee capped. Brutus any roster move for Chicago? #44 Mike Peluso Big Guy 100 Fighter. Lead league in PIM's Deadmeow any roster moves for Toronto? CoachMac Posted February 5, 2015 Author Report Posted February 5, 2015 I select the Minnesota NorthStars and replace Starting Center # 15 Dave Gagner with reserve C #18 Bobby Smith. 2 of my favorite players. Sad I had to choose. Quote
CoachMac Posted February 5, 2015 Author Report Posted February 5, 2015 Labs you are on the clock with 2 picks. Teams available. NY Islanders New Jersey Washington Buffalo Quebec Detroit Vancouver Winnipeg San Jose Quote
Brutus Posted February 5, 2015 Report Posted February 5, 2015 I'm at work today, so I can't look at edits till tonight. I'll do my one edit for each team that I pick when I get home. I was on the fence for using an edit w/ Chicago if I used them in Major, but for Farm, I'm definitely going to put in a bruiser. I think there are a few options (Stu Grimson is probably gonna be my "guy"). I need to review though and decide if it's Thomas or Larmer that get the hook! Quote
CoachMac Posted February 5, 2015 Author Report Posted February 5, 2015 Good. I think Peluso should be your guy. Peluso is heavier 236 to 228. Has a way better shot 86 to 0 The only thing Stu has is a cool nickname and 60 speed to Pelusos 40. Let me know tonight. Quote
LABS_66 Posted February 5, 2015 Report Posted February 5, 2015 I will select Buffalo and Washington for Farm League. For Buffalo I can't decide between Turgeon or Mogilny to promote to Line 1, and for who??? Any advice? For Washington I will promote Al Iafrate to Line 1 in place of Johansson. Quote
CoachMac Posted February 5, 2015 Author Report Posted February 5, 2015 Detroit bringing in Bob Probert at LW replacing Shawn Burr. Already looking forward to my game with the BlackHawks and an appointment with Stu or Peluso. Quote

CoachMac Posted February 5, 2015 Author Report Posted February 5, 2015 For Buffalo I can't decide between Turgeon or Mogilny to promote to Line 1, and for who??? Any advice? I like Buffalo. They were my next choice ahead of Detroit. Even though Turgeon is much bigger than Hawerchuk and rated slightly higher. I like Dale for his shot and speed (93-73) both better than Turgeon (53-53). Mogilny for Vaive is an OK move. One will be your starting RW and the other will be your first sub as the Line 2 LW so they will probably get about equal ice time. You also have a better back-up goalie in Malarchuk (59) than Puppa (55), but Puppa is much heavier which I think helps at times in this game. not sure about that though. Need to put in a good word for Clint as he lives in my town. On a side note just want to mention the 92 sub progression. for Forwards your first sub is Line 2 LW, your second sub is Line 3 LW, your 3rd sub is PP1 LW, your 4th sub is PP2 LW, etc... thru PK2 LW If your center is in the box Line 1 LW moves to C and Line 2 LW moves to LW. Bottom Line no centers or RW aside from Line 1 will ever see the ice. Unless you pull goalie then you get C #2. for Defensemen your first sub is Line 2 LD, then Line 3 LD, then PP1 LD, etc.. all the way thru PK2 LD. Bottom Line no RD aside From Line 1 will ever see the ice. Quote
