Genesis and 2v2 cart

Featured Replies

Alright.. now I have to set up to play 2v2 live.

Don't own a GENS, or a 4-way adapter, or have enough controllers, or a 2v2 cartridge.

Any advice here?

Will one of those newer GENS models suffice, or does it have to be old-school?

There were/are 3rd party 4-way adapters - is the SEGA branded one better for any reason?

As for the cartridge - I think I'd lean toward the everdrive, but it is costly.

Since we're talking about 2v2, has anyone ever had a 2nd player on the same emulator?

Cheers.

We play my original 6 roms head to head all the time on the same emulator.

But you may mean 4 guys on the same emulaor?????

Nah, just two guys from the same team. Would be neat to have two buds on each side of the internet squaring off.

I don't know that this is possible unless the technology has become available in the last few years. Me, Bo and Carse tried it for the Summit Series but there was never an emulator that let you join Netplay with more than one person at a time. We could only play on the same network with different computers.
