I can't remember much of this game because I was so tired after partying the night before with everybody then having to get up insanely early.

The video was on Twitch ever since the tourney, but the sound was about 2 seconds behind the play, which made it unwatchable. I fixed the audio, but now the video is kind of ugly (compressing scanlines is difficult).

VC had me on the ropes, and one of his guys misses a wiiiide open net with a one-timer in the 3rd period, which would have put it away, then I make the comeback. TSN Turning Point right there.

Next tourney... we need cots, for naps! KG proved the power of the power nap. Not sure they'll take him in the HHoF, but surely the NHoF (Napping Hall of Fame) will take him.

The guys commentating seemed new to the game, who were they?

The good buds Michael Sroka & Nick Houslander, who host a show called "Settle it on the Screen" for Twin Galaxies. NHL'94 is their favorite game, but they are not hardcore players you would find on this site.

Michael Sroka was I think the NHL'94 sega record holder for quite a few years? But yeah it's surprising how they don't know the players that well, and mentioned the wraparound (which I still insist was a bug in the SNES 93 game, nothing to do with 94 - the goalie would literally get stuck on the post as you went behind the net to do a wraparound)

Michael S made the top 16.

Nick was aware of the weight bug fix from the forums, we played a game and he mentioned it (and I mentioned.. that was me who fixed it :P)

Yeah the wraparound was a glitch goal in NHLPA 93. You can still use it in 94 (SNES), but the goalie gets stuck way less often. Best is to deke so the goalie goes down, then go around the net and you can score on the wrap.

I want to watch this video when I'm at a computer, thanks for sharing. :)

How dare they ignore the existence of the great Pelle Eklund. Than again I didn't know who Murray Craven played for for like 10 years

silky mitts by Gartner on the tying goal.

Pelle Eklund nudges Gartner at the blueline, giving him a slight rightward drift, setting up the backhand floater perfectly

What a finish! 3 unanswered to take the game! It's nice to see these high level techniques in play. Do you have more footage for newer players to watch?

I have a bunch of videos on my YouTube channel, also helpful may be my work in progress site: www.nhl94strategy.com

Some recent finals vids from our draft league:

GDL 15 Finals: http://forum.nhl94.com/index.php/topic/17646-gdl-xv-finals-icestorm-vs-fpb/

GDL 14 Finals: http://forum.nhl94.com/index.php/topic/17480-gdl-xiv-finals-new-york-kingraph-vs-arizona-plabax/

GDL 12 Finals: http://forum.nhl94.com/index.php/topic/16941-gdlxii-finals-nashville-plabax-quebec-freydey/

You can look at the "videos" section of any active league to see if there are videos.
