oboe
Is it possible to play NHL 94 online like EASHL in modern NHL games?
smozoma
You can play online. We have lots of leagues you can play in, with detailed stats: Standings: http://nhl94online.com/html/standings.php?lg=31&sublg=GENS-A Player Stats: http://nhl94online.com/html/player_stats.php If you mean with 12 players? No, but you can play 4 player and it's a blast. There are special ROMs with only 2 skaters (plus goalies) on each team. What kind of experience are you looking for exactly? (i'm not familiar with EASHL)

oboe
Smozoma what about position lock is it possible or playing only goalie?
smozoma
Not strictly, but you could just choose to always press the button that takes control of the goalie, after each faceoff. The difficultly would be that if you pass the puck to a CPU-controlled player, you will become that player. So you would always want to pass to player 1. In order to do position lock, the game would need to be hacked (not a terribly difficult hack, but no one is hacking the game these days, i'm basically retired from playing and hacking). It would also be terrible beacuse as soon as one of your AI teammates took control of the puck, your opponent would steal it back, because the AI is not very good. I guess you would have to protect him from opponent, which would maybe be an interesting take on the game, almost like being a football player protecting the runner (I DON"T KNOW FOOTBALL WORDS).
