This will be a very flexible league that should accommodate all so please join.

League rules and draft will be very similar to GDL.

How many games you play and how often you play will be up to you.  There will be no check points.  

Every coach will be scheduled to play each team 10 times(5 H, 5 A).  You can play as many of these games as you like or none at all.  

Playoffs:

Every coach that plays 30 games or more will qualify for playoffs.

Seedings for playoffs will be determined as follows:

1st seed -  team with most wins

2nd seed - team with best win % of remaining teams eligible

3rd seed - team with most wins of remaining teams eligible

4th seed - team with best win % of remaining teams eligible

Etc.  until there are no more teams eligible

Playoff matchups will be best of 7 and tournament will be double elimination because we all love playoff games.

 

I will cap the league at 16 teams which means you can play up to 150 games or none at all(please don't sign up though unless you think you'll play at least some).  

Season will be 10 to 12 weeks long and hopefully start draft in 2 weeks.  Everyone is required to follow along with draft and select in a timely manner or I'll pick for you.  We all have cell phones(except maybe coachmac) so this shouldn't be a problem.

 

I will be commish and Brutus will help out some.  Chaos has offered to put league on website. 

Brutus has threatened strongarm tactics if you don't join.

Oh yes. Have play flatcrusher a few times and have gotten in on some 2v2 as well.

Sign me up, won’t be very active next 5-6 weeks to play, but can do a draft, and can most definitely find time to play 20 games minimum during the week I can play in May, and sure I’ll get the itch to play after a break like usual.

Ever been to North Shore of Oahu, @CoachMac? My favorite place on Earth so far! Got to check out the Pipeline Masters a few years back, but left just prior to the Eddie. Unreal experience!

Yes.  At 22 I had to choose between Beach Life and Surfing or Mountain Life and Skiing.

I chose the latter and have no regrets, but still like to get my surf fix periodically.

Also part of the reason I live in Northern Nevada as opposed to Wyoming.

Nice, two pretty great choices! I don't surf, but I love everything about it and seeing a major pro event is a memory for the ages. This was a photo I snapped of a local surfer on the Banzai Pipeline before the competition got going.

I only own about 10 DVD's and this is one of them.

Slapshot and Ferris Bueller also come to mind.

New League this summer for NES.

Best surf doc for me is Riding Giants! Also this is perfect talk for a summer league lol
