Talon22
The game begain with a lingering rage after Montreal got the better of Quebec in the previous game that ended 1-0 in OT that game showed great Defence but not much offence. Both teams were ready and set the puck was droped. Both teams trying to get an eager start and try to score that important first goal that from last game could of been the game winner. Eventualy Quebec got a good run and Joe Sakic shot a blaze of a shot in to the net with a Slapshot. with the 1-0 lead Quebec was energetic but then Montreal came back with a quick one timer to put them in a tie with the Nord's. This match was looking like a classic with the 2nd closing out there was much pressure on all of the players. The 3rd begain with a bang as Montreal move in to Nord's turf and got a quick shot that was deflected from the goalie that ended up rolling out where Montreal hit the puck once more placing it into the net. Quebec was in for a comeback with 2 mins left and mounted on with a goal from Sundin that entered both teams in to OT. Quebec and Montreal was in this game from the start it was starting to become a heated rivaly these to battled for a couple minutes and Joe Sakic charged to the net and shot the puck at the goalie with the goali trying to react the puck shot passed his extended arm and GOAL! the horns blasted and the ref blew the wistle to signel the end of this game. These to Divison Rivals will meet up 2 more times and if there as exciting as the first to then this rivalry may be the best one of the year. Game one = Que 0 MTL = 1 OT Game two = Que 3 MTL = 2 OT
