Many games on the Sega Genesis displayed in 240p; a format not accepted by HDMI standards. We force the resolution to 720p to ensure maximum compatibility. Our cable also now features 4:3 aspect ratio! We ensure maximum compatibility by using the Sega Genesis’ native RGB signal to display all games! clockwise Posted September 12, 2019 Report Share Posted September 12, 2019 Video review with a good comparison against the HD Retrovision cables. For the price, I think it's not bad at all and is a huge improvement over composite. But if you can space the coin, HD Retrovision cables are a better option.
