CamKneely Posted September 26, 2006 Report Posted September 26, 2006 Tonight the Winnipeg Jets put away the Boston Bruins at home, 4-0. Center Alexei Zhamnov led the way with two goals and an assist. Teemu Selanne also scored on a penalty shot for the first goal of the game. But the obvious star was goalie Bob Essensa, who made 15 saves on 15 shots, including some amazing snags that robbed Neely and Bourque late in the third. In the locker room after the game, Essensa was awarded a 15 year contract by the Jets, which he gladly signed. Quote

Setar Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 15 years? who does he think he is, Rick DiPietro? Didn't the Oilers sign Gretzky for like 20 years and the contract was bought out for some insane amount when he was on LA? Quote
angryjay93 Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 well if gretzky did get signed to a 20 year contract, that would make sense where as 15 years for DiPietro is just...well there is no word for it, id make one up, but i lack creativity at the moment. Quote
