Which option do you want to go with for our season?

12 members have voted

  1. 1. Which option do you want to go with for our season?

    • As-is setup, 3 MIN periods, 3 MIN OT, 2 games vs each opponent, an additonal 4 games vs a selected rival, shorter season, faster to playoffs
    • Switch to 4 min periods, 4 min OT, 2 games vs each opponent, an additional 4 games vs a selected rival
    • 3 MIN periods, 3 MIN OT, but DOUBLE the amounts games since it's easy to get them in, 4 games vs each opponent, no more rivalry games
  2. 2. Which option do you want to go with for our playoffs?

    • Whether 3 MIN or 4 MIN used in regular season will be the same time for playoff games, with the OT exception being unlimted (NO TIES in playoffs obviously)
    • Switch to 5 min periods come playoffs, allowing the meaningful games/series the full length. This setting always for a faster season to be played with shorter time periods, but a normal NHL94 playoff setup

So, only vote if you've had time to EXI w/ the Rom and have played some games w/ 3 min periods.   It has plenty of pros & cons.

One major pro is you can knock out a bunch of games quickly.
One major con is sometimes it can feel TOO quick.

Given that, stats will be harder to come by, which can be both a PRO & CON.

In addition, I am doing a second poll to decide on settings for the playoffs as well.
My thought now is let's vote on 3 options.  IF YOU HAVEN'T EXI'd the ROM, hurry & do so, and then come vote.
