Did you even get any sleep Octopolus? I have just got up around 6AM. Im just wondering, because it looks like you posted a reply to Ultramagnus  only 2 hours ago which would be 4AM in the East Coast of the USA. I only got around 6 hours of sleep, but did sleep.

yeah that would be awesome if all the teams would be available for trades. even if most players are in the right place from scratch as it is nhl26 there will still be some moves during the season and not to mention the trade deadline

I discovered something else today, I haven't played with the newer team before but today i did and in nhl23 (95) it seems like all the free agents shows up in Columbus roster. Maybe you could fix that as well 🙌

Yeah for me it's the same feeling as when you wait for an official game to be released! 😃 I'm very excited to play this great game with updated teams and rosters🤩

Nhl26. But ill be able to get alot more of them at once, when i get to the original 6 since it would mostly be roster updates at that stage

Ok Thanks! Final question for tonight just to clarify for no misunderstanding on my end are you going starting  backwards or forwards through the years before the 2026 season?  I do expect alot of downloading from me on these in the future whenever available.. At least for all the years 2020s, 2010s,2000s, 1990s,1980s,70s,and maybe the 60s. 

Update: Ok I think I understand you now and mean it's backwards like I'd like best anyway!

I'll be doing all roms from 1909 to present each season. I'll try to get 26 done tomorrow. Than start back up with 1914

Okay. So next will be 1914 till 2025. Alright I can be patient I think. 😀

The plan is to have the schedules the exact way they were during those times. The rosters, logos and team even non-nhl. Like the 70s I'm planning to have the WHL and NHL

Well for me and Octopolus too I'm sure we prefer you go backwards! As in next after 26, the 2025 season. That would be way preferred!

Yes I can be patient if you decide either way. Nhl26 to start is a good first starting point to start. I wish you  Good Luck and Enjoy your Project. I bet i can be a pretty consistent loyal customer for you and can have gratitude for the fact these Roms exist on here in the first place.  I and many here really love the NHL games and Roms. Thankyou for the replies tonight and it gives me and Octopolus too, etc alot better clarity. Thankyou! I'm all set tonight for my questions and it's been helpful for me.

Only biggest question I have if it's 1914 next will it take say a timeframe of say 6 months to a year to complete the whole years of seasons, or we talking 2 to 5 years  or something? That's all I would like to ask and know. 😀

Thankyou if you can answer this fairly simple particular question. A best estimate and  definitive answer as for the timeframe is all I'm wondering about.

The Original Six 6 years I believe was from 1942-1967?

So if you start at 1914-1941 likely how long? And then everything (Original 6 then 1968- present day) after that? That's my main question.

Just a ballpark timeline figure and estimate? I can get off your back about it if you can say. I'm at least interested in your project even if it's mostly for the more  Modern Era seasons of it.

I can apologize UltraMagnus, but if you could please reply sometime  about a time frame to most likely expect particularly if you begin next with 1914 and work your way up that would be very helpful?

Just to clarify I can't remember if it was you or Adam Catalyst, but I went through myself a very tough time too after a Rejection from a woman (years ago, but not a Divorce in my case). It really sucks for anyone when that or similar  happens. My  parents are over 70 now actually so I will face the loss of my parents too some day. Im Sorry and hope you are doing okay. 

I can leave you alone as long as I get a timeline of the Vintage Roms project. Just please when able keep everyone updated and on the progress, hopefully fix the trade issue for all teams if its even  possible for Octopolus and that's all I ask.

If I have questions in the future I will let you know, but for now just would like a reply about a time frame to likely  expect? Might take a while to complete I know as I'm aware at least  of that part. If you can be less vague then let me know a good or approx estimate?

Hi, just saying I'm pretty Eager to try the upcoming Nhl26 and some other Roms. He told me he might start with 1914 though after 2026. I will try to be patient, I'm just trying to get a reply to hear a timeframe of the whole project overall particularly if he starts next on 1914 thats all. It's fine ,but  I'm most interested in say all of the 1989 thru 2026 seasons the most.

oooh..i thought you were more interested in the very very early ones, like 1914. but i didnt read that closely 🤭 

im also very very excited to play his 2026 rom as soon as he releases it, enjoy the new rosters and teams and see if he could fix the bugs from the 2023 rom🙇‍♂️

One thing extra I like in his other early 2020 season Rom is it has also a All-Stars team in it from that year, along with the NHL legends team like the others. The other Roms I think have a Prospects team instead. 

Well Nhl26 can hold me over and should suffice enough in the meantime.

Otherwise they were okay except I didn't recognize the players from then, the teams and there was a very limited number of players on the teams. I will try them again (1909-1913l later maybe to get a overall better feel for them.

oh really? all star teams are cool but i do prefer to have all the "normal" teams if i have to choose. for me those extra teams are just a bonus. its much more important that all the 32 teams are available and working with updated rosters and that we can make trades with all those teams without any problems 😃

i was gonna play with the prospects in nhl23 (95) but i quit that particular game and started over when i discovered that it wasnt prospects in their roster

You must play "Games with Trades" mode alot to see most that roster bug. I noticed In that mode versus "Regular" it happens.

The bonus teams already  don't allow for trades so I don't expect the trades to work for those teams. I will say I'm okay if just the bonus teams can't have trades. For all the others it will be nice if fixed.

Reason for the error, is likely due to limited players on each roster. Best suited from NON-Line changes. Some teams didnt even have a "Defendcemen

Thanks. Can I ask one question for today and that's all? Its"what is the approximate timeline for this project as a whole to expect for a hopeful completion". For example six months, 1year, or years?".

I will be good to go just if you have a in the ballpark or approx figure? (Not too Vague).

1914 is fine if that's actually  your plan. Just hope it's not too long like over a year or two.
