The bonus teams already  don't allow for trades so I don't expect the trades to work for those teams. I will say I'm okay if just the bonus teams can't have trades. For all the others it will be nice if fixed.

yes i only play regular games with trades. 

vegas, nashville, minnesota, all work to make trades. seattle not too sure if it works or not. san jose and columbus doesnt work to make trades. their rosters are incorrect in the trade mode and the game freezes when you scroll down their rosters

Thanks for the info and details when i play NHL23 (95). Please Share with Ultramagnus too about that if its going to be very helpful for him to fix the trade issue.

I just played again both the early releases of 1909 and 2020. I had Noticed  at least 3 or 4 things.

Noticed right away that for Boston on the 2020 Rom, Zdeno Chara was a Forward instead of a Defenseman.  Though he was only by default on the 1st line as a Defenseman, however was instead placed as a Forward if you wish to change him to elsewhere. 

And for the 1909 Rom I tried, the 1:00 penalty time hack was used I guess, and I had some difficulty with play because jersey colors between teams were too very similar to eachother.

Ok thats Good! He will see it easier that way. Its Funny how my biggest question for him about a timeline is still being anticipated. I will just expect 2026 first , then its 1914,  and then how ever long it takes from there. (Laughs).

 

I just Hope for you maybe he can also fix just the NHl23 ROM early for you too, and can just maybe share for you and all as a Download. That would be very nice to see.

I can now then accept turning Line Changes to Off "if" i wish to play 1909-1913 era and so forth)  on the earlier Era Roms more often if some teams have so few players. But  I usually often play with Line Changes and Penalities On in the typical modern era Roms though. 

I will see if the most early older Era Roms begin to grow on me. Probably once it switches between the NHA to the Original 6 NHL i should at least alittle more like them more and more. The  1989-2026 seasons and those Rosters I'm far more familiar with.

Yeah that would be great! It is the game I play the most by far 🤩 I remember thinking all those years back how great it would be to play Sega's nhl-games with present teams and rosters so this is literally a dream coming true for me 🥰

I can only imagine how much work it is to finish one ROM so he probably can't give you a fair answer to how long it's gonna take to finish all those games.  Let's just let him do his magic and wait for the wonderful results and when he knows I'm sure he's gonna give you an answer 😉

But I can be Patient if Nhl26 is late or later than Friday.

And I have a Interesting Question about NHL95?.....

My Question? Does NOSE allow some kind of Mod for NHL95 Roms to allow in game selection of the Away team Edit Lines in 1P Vs CPU? 

For better clarity, in any NHL95 Rom with a Emulator the trick that works in the other NHLs with 2nd Player controller for Away Team Edit Lines never works in NHL95 for me.  Is that possible in NOSE to allow that feature to work?

Even if just the original regular Nhl95 Rom could be edited to make the above  work and then available for Download that would be cool.

I ask this because Smozoma once said to me and recommended NOSE. Where it can supposedly perhaps make that work?

Just asking if you have time this morning to read and reply to a couple of my left messages? This website was quite quiet last night, aside from me.

Good News is that this morning Von Ozbourne replied and  told me why Nhl95 can't allow for Edit Lines of the away team in 1P Vs Cpu mode with 2nd controller. It was actually  helpful more than Bad (though it's yeah too Bad Nhl95 can't do that trick like 94,96,97, and 98 Genesis). 

But I'm happy to finally get a answer to that mystery about Nhl95!

Guess I won't have to worry anymore  about that missing feature of Nhl95. I wrote Posts and started two threads and gave it a shot to ask and it paid off, but  Not exactly Totally Perfectly however. 😁

 

Im Going to lay back and take a Break for awhile from the Forum  and ease back on alot of my writing. 

I can and will just wait it out till I see any updates or replies in this Thread.

I will still check for any Reply or updates once in a while. I Hope to hear somekind of News though.

Hello. Hope you are okay and are well? I will give you time to reply to everyone and I will ease back. I think i can do it! I hope you are alright. If you ever do need more downtime or need to even postpone or cancel this project for any reason (I'd hope Not though) you can let us know if that ever were to happen. I'd hope to see at least Nhl26 get finished though if you cannot continue this project. I hope you are safe and just working or working hard on the Roms as well.  I will give you the benefit of the doubt and lay back abit for you till we all here back hopefully sometime in the future.
