February 28, 20233 yr comment_195966 I downloaded the Sega Genesis version of this since, in theory, it's the latest, greatest NHL game of the 16 bit era. Just plug and play against the computer, it seems pretty fast and smooth. The only exception is the now outdated 2 line pass. Are there any hacks/updates for 98? Report
November 14, 20241 yr comment_207599 I'd be very interested to know if you found anything. I know there is lots of hype around '94, but I really like '98! The two line pass is a pain in the butt though. Cheers Report
November 14, 20241 yr comment_207606 Hi, no one does hacks/updates for 98, but there is a program called "NOSE" that makes it very easy to do roster updates for all the Genesis versions. If you want to try it out, it's here (make sure to follow the instructions for installation): Report

June 28Jun 28 comment_216053 Octopolus, could you try a clean unmodified original Nhl95 rom or perhaps a Nhl97 original Rom to see if it loads into NOSE for you?Ultramagnus maybe too could help you on the question of his NHl95 2023 edition, etc and that Nhl95 2026 edition Rom?If you ever plan to make a Nhl97 Rom you will need a Base Rom. Of course you know already.Maybe you could perhaps use that 2011 season Nhl97 Rom I Re-posted in the past? See if it loads? Or that 2009 one.If you ever mod a Nhl97 rom I don't think it would be the Nhl2012 version 2.0 as the best starting point? But i do not know the answer. Those real mod creator guys can answer alll your questions alot better than me obviously!I Do Not even own a PC by the way. I've been PC free for 8 years now! Computers can be at times a pain in the neck.Good Luck.Funny how I wish a NOSE like program could be made from scratch for Android too!I even once asked for that request in the past. That's very unlikely I know!Good Luck to you all. Edited June 28Jun 28 by RT1977 Report
